Those Colorado's are nice but from everything I've heard you want to get a ZR1 so you get an upgrade in suspension. Makes the ride a hell of a lot smoother than the stock suspension on the other models. Also if you get the option with the catback exhaust and performance air filter it will improve your mileage along with adding a few extra HP.

I've enjoyed my 2017 Colorado and I average a little over 21 mpg driving about 90 miles a day (65 miles of highway). I did have to get the torque converter replaced under warranty after it developed a shudder under load around 50-60mph. Mine is the LT model with the first year they put in the 8 speed transmission.

Don't have experience to compare to a Tundra of the Z package, but it's smooth enough for me considering it is a truck and not a car.

I've got a full car seat directly behind the driver for my daughter and she can get in fine, even though it's a little tight. if you're taller than 6 ft and have the driver seat further back, then it may not work. The other side has a booster for the boy that is fine.

When I test drove the truck, I brought along the car seats to check for fit before deciding to purchase. Once the girl is in a booster, then there shouldn't be any issues. It's just with the inclined angle of the car seat and the Bpillar making it a little smaller.
