I think it really depends, too, on how high they are on Calabrese versus Genoves. I would think whichever isn't more highly regarded gives up playing time to Bart.
Then I would guess either Bart or Genoves are in Augusta by the end of the season.
I assume he signs once he's finished with his college season. I would guess that would be the last of the guys signed from the draft, putting the final number at 33 of 40.
Realistically, why would he sign? If he thinks he is any good himself, she sees an org that has a shit-ton of high-to-mid level OF prospects and a history of not developing OFers properly. And the org didn’t draft him until the 16th (or whatever) round, so they weren’t going to go overboard to get him anyway. They may have actually offered the absolute min just to prevent getting penalized anyway, essentially telling him they don’t want him, and his post I said saving face saying it was his choice.
