I'm guessing it wasn't this incident alone that made Westbrook snap, he's been talking about Utah for a while now and finally got fed up.

Ahhh, so maybe HE'S the racist and doesn't have any love for the state with the 4th lowest percentage of African-Americans (1.34%) in the US, and lowest of states with NBA teams (Montana, Idaho, and Vermont are lower).

Wrong question.

D Lo or the #2 pick was the price to dump Mosgov.

I'd rather have Kuzma and Fox or D Lo and Kuz.

Lonzo is the problem.

I'll continue to disagree on Lonzo. Better days are to come.

Utah fans being racist. Color me shocked!! What a weird backwards state. It’s almost like their own little sovereign nation.
Yeah, my husband had a daughter with a woman from a devout Mormon family in Utah 2 years prior to us dating .

The Mother ran afoul with the Law * drugs from being excommunicated * and was incarcerated.

Nobody in the family would take the girl because my husband is half Belize and half Mexican and she went into foster care.

It was a fucking horror show.

I ended up getting custody and adopting her a year later.

I will never forget the way that family treated my child.

Disgusting.

With that being said, not all of Utah's residents fall into that category.

One of the bio-Mom's Aunts is the one who hunted us down and alerted me to my daughter's situation.

She couldn't/wouldn't take her. But, she at least made the effort to find someone who would.

It does seem rather unlikely for a fan to say racist things to an African-American then turn around and root for the African-Americans on his favorite team.

I get it.

I just don't think Lonzo has perennial ALL STAR potential, let alone Super Star potential.

But, he can have a Mike Conley like affect on a team.

I'm not talking about the way they play.

Marc Gasol was the Griz's best player.

But, Mike Conley was the leader.

Fox could be a star.

I wouldn't rule this out. Preference would be Fox, though.
In today's NBA, your pg needs to be able to score.

I specifically said SCORE instead of SHOOT.

Kemba isn't a great shooter.

But, he can put the ball in the basket.

Lonzo is to hot, and usually very, cold.

They loved Malone and are crazy about SPIDA.

* contemplates if Rudy is viewed as being black in that neck of the woods*

Fox has improved a ton this season. I prefer Ball's size for defensive purposes, but Fox has speed instead.
And if we are still talking Lebron as a teammate his shooting helps a ton. Not elite from 3 but good and love how much he has improved this season.

Playing with Lebron turns guards into spot up shooters though, and that would kill some of Fox's value too (his speed).

Not saying it didn't need to be done, but not like he did anything that impressive getting a team to take an all star PG from him along with the Moz deal.

Russell wasn't an all star at the time and had actually only started playing well consistently at the end of the season when Luke moved him to sg.

Would you rather have Russell or Kuzma?

That's a tough one. On paper, I'd say Russell because he made the all star team. However, he also plays in the East. If Kuz was in the East, he might be an all star too.

Probably stick with Kuz.

I didn't get the racial angle either.

Apparently there may have been some racial stuff on the fans social media that was directed at Westbrook. But his social media accounts have since been deleted.

Used to think that Lonzo's odd shot would be fine, there have been some great shooters that had odd releases, and that he just needed to learn to get it out of his hands quicker.

Starting to think that might not be the case. He may need to completely change it. Or at the least, raise his release point.

ehhh...i dunno

if your PG cant shoot that sure puts you behind the 8 ball.....even if they can score , if they cant space thats not necesarily a good thing.....

i dunno
