Cmon Milwaukee grab the other Lopez
Quite simply LeBron chose the wrong franchise if his concern was winning a title this year.
I really think your opportunity to land Harris took a hit once some major teams like the Knicks and Mavs cleared a shit ton of cap space. There are going to be a few teams that are going to miss out on the biggest free agents and they're going to throw probably some big contracts around. I think overall that's a bigger threat than Oladipo's injury and a chance to compete.
LeBron would've been insane to think the Lakers were in position to win it all this year. But like I said after he went to L.A. it's not about this year. The interesting stuff will be this off season. I don't remember how much the Lakers have to spend, but it's a lot.
I think he's saying you drafted poorly. What exactly did Magic and Pelinka do wrong? Did they not offer everyone (reportedly) not called Lebron, including multiple first rounders?
This came down to something very simple: The pelicans think they can get a better package from Boston in the summer.
I personally don't think they will but good luck to them with that.
Barnes = Brandon Ingram with less handles.Tobias Harris is probably best case scenario for the Kings in FA to get a max or near max level player, but I don't think they'll get him over all the big market teams who have cleared cap space. If Barnes plays great then it wouldn't be the worst thing to give him a contract extension.
Then he shouldn't have panicked this season and let the team grow and go from there. Decide who he wants to keep or not. In a much more professional fashion
He'd be a good fit too.We may have lost any realistic opportunity at signing Harris on the day Oladipo went down, because frankly I worry that he might miss some time to begin next season as well.
The guy mentioned most to this point in Pacers rumors has been Khris Middleton. I'd be somewhat surprised if we got him as well. We'd likely have to blow him out of the water with an offer in order to prevent him from re-signing with the Bucks.
We'll take him, though.
Barnes = Brandon Ingram with less handles.
He's not a max guy or a #1 or 2 option.
But, he's not bad for a #3.
I think he will be really good in Sacto.
Are people really surprised by this?I agree w/ you. It's what LeBron does though, not saying it's right. He reshaped the roster & got rid of coaches in Cleveland. And I'm actually surprised Walton's still the coach.
Barnes could end up the #4 option after this season behind Fox, Buddy, and Bagley. If he defends well and makes his 3's, he'll be worth re-signing because the team needs a true SF for the future.Barnes = Brandon Ingram with less handles.

This has always been his M.O.
He couldn't hide his frustrations with the kiddie corps early in the Season.
Their growing pains, the Rockets early troubles and the perception that the Warriors were a ticking time bomb probably led him to believe that he could make some noise this year, if he had a legit sidekick.
We will see what these guys are made of tonight.LA LA Land @ Beantown right around the corner. Hopefully Boston will
