Quite simply LeBron chose the wrong franchise if his concern was winning a title this year.

LeBron would've been insane to think the Lakers were in position to win it all this year. But like I said after he went to L.A. it's not about this year. The interesting stuff will be this off season. I don't remember how much the Lakers have to spend, but it's a lot.

I have sportscenter on right now & listening to KD's rant after last nights game. Oh the hilarious irony of that goofball telling that reporter to grow up when he created fake social media accounts to defend himself.

Demps would have been fired if he had traded AD....

Per Stephen Smith on ESPN.

I really think your opportunity to land Harris took a hit once some major teams like the Knicks and Mavs cleared a shit ton of cap space. There are going to be a few teams that are going to miss out on the biggest free agents and they're going to throw probably some big contracts around. I think overall that's a bigger threat than Oladipo's injury and a chance to compete.

Yeah. I agree with this.

Harris could go to a team like Dallas and give them a nice trio with himself, Luka, and KP.

Tobias Harris is probably best case scenario for the Kings in FA to get a max or near max level player, but I don't think they'll get him over all the big market teams who have cleared cap space. If Barnes plays great then it wouldn't be the worst thing to give him a contract extension.

Then he shouldn't have panicked this season and let the team grow and go from there. Decide who he wants to keep or not. In a much more professional fashion

What exactly did Magic and Pelinka do wrong? Did they not offer everyone (reportedly) not called Lebron, including multiple first rounders?

This came down to something very simple: The pelicans think they can get a better package from Boston in the summer.

I personally don't think they will but good luck to them with that.
I think he's saying you drafted poorly.

Kuz was a sensational pick.

But, if the Lakers would have taken Fox or Tatum over Lonzo, you'd probably have Davis.

As shitty as Bennett was, the fact that the Cavs had Wiggins was enough to pry Kevin Love loose.

Hindsight is a 20/20 and Wiggins turned out to be a lazy slug.

But, his upside was enough for the Wolves to take the bait.

None of the 4 of the Lakers youngsters look like possible Franchise level players.

You need to have at least one of those to even get a seat at the Davis trade table.

Barnes = Brandon Ingram with less handles.

He's not a max guy or a #1 or 2 option.

But, he's not bad for a #3.

I think he will be really good in Sacto.

I agree w/ you. It's what LeBron does though, not saying it's right. He reshaped the roster & got rid of coaches in Cleveland. And I'm actually surprised Walton's still the coach.

We may have lost any realistic opportunity at signing Harris on the day Oladipo went down, because frankly I worry that he might miss some time to begin next season as well.

The guy mentioned most to this point in Pacers rumors has been Khris Middleton. I'd be somewhat surprised if we got him as well. We'd likely have to blow him out of the water with an offer in order to prevent him from re-signing with the Bucks.

We'll take him, though.
He'd be a good fit too.

Can he play the 3?

Why did the Kings get rid of Mike Malone? In his 4 year in the Mile Higher City he's increased his win total each year.

Are people really surprised by this?

This has always been his M.O.

He couldn't hide his frustrations with the kiddie corps early in the Season.

Their growing pains, the Rockets early troubles and the perception that the Warriors were a ticking time bomb probably led him to believe that he could make some noise this year, if he had a legit sidekick.

Barnes could end up the #4 option after this season behind Fox, Buddy, and Bagley. If he defends well and makes his 3's, he'll be worth re-signing because the team needs a true SF for the future.

If I said I was surprised w/ what's going on in L.A. right now I'd be lying. Actually I kinda expected it.

We will see what these guys are made of tonight.

If they lay down and curl into the fetal position, they are just proving the folks who tried to get them exiled right.

Me too.

When the Cavs were winning, it was because of LeBron.

When they were losing, it was because of everyone else.

I'm not surprised by the circus.

But, I am completely shocked that they are 10th in the West 50 games in.

I'm making my official predictions for the All-star teams this year:

Team Lebron:
KD
Kyrie
Kawhi
Kemba

Reserves:
Anthony Davis
Klay Thompson
Russell Westbrook
Blake Griffin
Lamarcus Aldridge
Kyle Lowry
Nikola Vucevic
Dwyane Wade

Team Giannis:
Steph
Embiid
Harden
Paul George

Reserves:
Khris Middleton
Nikola Jokic
Damian Lillard
Bradley Beal
Ben Simmons
Karl-Anthony Towns
DeAngelo Russell
Dirk Nowitzki

I listed the picks in order. Also anyone notice a pattern of Lebron's picks for his first 6 selections? LOL.

Damn near got the starters right except Bron went for Harden instead of Kemba.

I also got the first two reserve picks correct for both squads. Got a couple more correct two. Bron's in full recruitment mode.
