I just sat down and started reading this thread and I have to give you props on this one.

As I was driving home, I heard on the radio that the Lakers current offer is Lonzo, Kuz, Ingram, Rondo, Stephenson, Beasley, 2 first rounders and the Lakers take Solomon Hill off of the Pels hands along with AD.

I will be honest. Don't get why Rondo is in the deal.

I mean, whatever NO wants they could get, but I would haggle over that one. Because Rondo, AD, and Bron might get you to the West Finals if the matchups work out right. And Rondo is WAY more valuable to LAnthan his 1 year would be to NO.

I agree, I'd even include Hart and take Rondo out of it.....that could be the final offer.....and I really like Hart but we have to put all the kids on the table to make this happen IMO.

He did a good job trading Clarkson and Nance for cap relief to get Lebron but so far messed up with Paul George and Kawhi.

Agree about PG. Magic took it for granted that PG would sign in the off-season and paid for it.

But Pop wasn't trading Kawhi to the Lakers. He'd have settled for a bag of old basketballs and a half eaten egg salad sandwich before he sent Kawhi to the Lakers.

Keep KCP and toss in Hart, instead of Rondo.....I'd love to keep him but make every effort to get AD and leave no stone unturned. The vets could be valuable in the postseason.

No.

Hart is on a cheap multi year deal though. He could be a key rotation guy next year. DON't get me wrong, he can go, but you want to keep him because he can help you win a title under his current contract. Rondo and KCP can't.

I'd rather keep Hart than KCP and I like KCP more than most. But end of the day, whoever the Pels want not named Lebron, they get.
