And this point is completely irrelevant....

It's actually not.

A healthy James on the Lakers elevates the Lakers over the Clippers IMO, even with their difference in schedules. And I think most knowledgeable NBA fans would admit t......funny thing having the best player on the planet.....

Since when has being better then the Clippers been a thing?

Not trying to take sides on this one....

But anybody who posts here regularly has seen some "personal opinions" that are very clearly wrong. So yeah. Opinions can be wrong.

I tend to think the ones you are referring to are trolling and just masking it as their opinion.

It's an open forum, you won't hear me complain about anybody "taking sides." Anybody can (and will) comment.

We're talking about who is getting the 8 seed and maybe the 7. You'd know that if you were following the convo.
Ah ok makes sense

Well good luck with that battle

So... Game of the Millennium Tonight!!: GS @ BOS

I have some burning questions:

1.) Will Golden State lose by 30ish points, or 50ish points?

Tough call. But Golden State has some pretty good players, I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say they only lose by 30ish.

2.) Will this whopping loss affect what Golden State does at the trade deadline?

Absolutely, IMO. Once they see that they can't match up with Boston, the Warriors will look to make some major moves.

3.) Is Steve Kerr on the hot seat?

No doubt. Golden State's front office is gonna be looking for a scapegoat after tonight, and the head coach is usually target #1.

---------

Thoughts?

You nailed it.

Tonight's matchup is easily the most important game in the history of basketball.

The Warriors/Celtics game tonight is bigger than any Finals game 7.

This could really put a strain on the Nets playoff push. Damn shame. They've been scorching.

They'll be fine. East is shitty and they still have "Ice In His Veins" Russell.

Also Levert seems like he is returning next month.

Kind of wish the Tribe would adopt the same approach. Just go all in to win in the next 3-4 years before Lindor and Ramirez walk.
Jose is signed up for like ever.

Lindor they have for 3 more years

I am hoping all this cutting of payroll means they are saving it to at least try and buy out an extra year or two of free agency from Lindor.

Maybe. You're right that the East is pretty bad once you get past the Nets at #6 so they probably can hold on, but that's going to be a lot for D'Lo to carry. There's not of options for them now unless you expect Theo Pinson to miraculously have great games every night. Full disclosure, I didn't realize Pinson was in the league until last night, lol

CELTICS IN SEVEN!
I got Celtics in two... after the first two games, Golden State doesn't bother to show up for the rest of the series.

How dare you have the nerve to ask if someone's angry after they said playoffs been boring as hell the last 2 seasons (# 15268)? It's obvious he didn't mean all of the playoff series. Even if he never said it.:heh:
