Markannen.

thats crazy....Markenen, Dunn, Lavine.

yikes. They did do well to get Covington and Saric back though so that at least mitigates a little---- but I would much rather have MArkenen than Saric and Dunn/Lavine vs. Covington is another clear win for Chicago.

I like macaroni salad, cole slaw, and tater salad......all fine choices.

If you want to get jiggy with it.....tater or mac salad AND cole slaw.
i think that Knicks loss fried your brain. lol

They could have kept Lopez.

Not Randle though.

Again, because he wasn't signing for just 1 year unless they paid significantly more than what the Pelicans did.
he signed a 1 and 1 with the PEls for 9M

a player option he is without a doubt going to opt out of

plus, it would be hard for me to believe that you couldnt actually GET assets for RAndle on a 1 year 9M dollar deal- instead of in a worst case scenario attaching assets to get rid of him.

Pretty sure that Randle requested that the Lakers not match the offer as he didn't want to be in LA anymore.

Right.

But, like @flyerhawk said, he wanted out. No doubt in part because he was not a priority signing for the Lakers. Also, while he almost defintely will not excercise his player option for next season, it isn't not a risk the Lakers could take.

Priority #1 for the Lakers was signing a max superstar or 2
Priority #2 was preserving 2019 cap space if they failed to land a second star. A player option for Randle would hurt the Lakers' ability to sign another max player in 2019.

I have a dream.....that one day we will all be talking about what we are having for lunch and dinner.....in a world of madness and chaos......in between hot sports takes.....we shall all freely discuss our food cravings and not be ashamed to talk about it.

@Wamu and @trojanfan12 are my main compadres since Wamy talks about what he is grilling and TJ12 and I discuss our latest foodie destinations.

DJ...the Martin Luther King Jr. of food.

If they kept Randle and Brolo they would have been right there with Dallas and Sacto, IMO. But they couldn't do that.

People forget that if they didn't get Lebron, they may very well still have Randle and Lopez. So, they'd basically have last years team which was playing very well by the end of the season.

If Lebron was all they were missing, you'd be right. But he's not.

Still should beat the Knicks at home entering the 4th with a lead. The Knicks are as bad as they come in this league

You realize that they have been without Lebron, Rondo, now Kuzma and they just got JaVale back from pneumonia and he's not 100% yet, right?

They had Josh Hart playing PF at times over the last 2 games. :L

Kuzma was available in both Kings games and the Clippers game.

They're still an NBA team and the Lakers were still very depleted. Looked to me like they basically ran out of gas in the 4th.

Although, to be fair, the young guys trying to do it individually when the game got close didn't help either. But, it's what young guys do. As long as they learn from it, they'll be fine.

That's where at least having Rondo would have likely meant they hung on and won. He likely is able to get them to not play "hero ball".

lol

They lost by 1 point on the road to the Kings and then beat them at Staples 3 days later. The Clippers was the 2nd game of a back to back and they were still without Lebron, Rondo and JaVale.

Funny how Wiggy always forgets the things that don't fit his narrative.
