pippen makes less sense than those guys. George and Redd at least are perimeter guys that break down a defense. While Redd didnt play any D George sure does.

I actually think he has some Tatum in him---- maybe a little more ball handling ability than Tatum but thus far that iso ne of the best comps i have seen.

i mean- the guy is honestly stuck in an NBA that was 20-30 years ago. wtf......its ridiculous.

George is shooting 8.7 threes a game. That is almost half his FG attempts. He can slash, but that isn't his game.

Tatum?

Tatum's best attribute is his shooting.

So yeah, I went back in time because it is hard to find a really good wing player in the current game that is like Barrett.

that a guy averaging 12 minutes, and 10th in minutes on his own team was in a rotation?

Those are the musings of someone that has repeatedly come close to drowning/had heavy objects dropped on their heads.

Yeah, point out his shooting percentages when he's a walking, talking trip-double if he's running the offense. Not a PG averaging 2.5apg and 2.3 TO's on a team whose backup PF is leading the team with 3.2apg.

FYI,

Scottie Pippen's senior year at Central Arkansas, he averaged 23.6 points, 10 rebounds and 4.3 assists. RJ Barrett currently averages 23.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

What a terrible comp.

Tatum, on the other hand averaged 16.8, 7.3 and 2.1 on a Duke team not nearly as good as this year's version. He also shot better from 3 (not great) and shot 85% from the FT line where Barrett struggles.

Based on what I have seen, Barrett plays a lot more Pippen than Tatum.

Barrett is about the same size, 1 inch shorter, 5 LBs lighter. So yeah, he will probaby average more points and fewer assists with less defense. But the comp is solid.

22 5 and 5 is what I project Barrett to produce at peak level.

Plays just 14.7mpg in 32 games but I consider him to be a really solid one, he's had a few moments for he Lakers this season.
