Rehashing the same 2 conversations almost verbatim gets a little old after awhile.

LOL yep which is why I barely entertain his conversations about the Heat. Basically been the same sort of comments for about 2 years now. He gets a response from me here and there but I don't do the whole extended back and forth anymore.

I was the first one on Luka.....he is just unreal.

I wish the Cavs somehow could have gotten him or JJJ but it was not to be.

Bamba has been a little disapointing thus far- but Orlando has some wacky things going coaching wise- they are really bringing along Isaac and Bamba very slowly---- big men often do seem to take a lot more time to develop than do guards in the NBA.

Seems like playmakers and scorers can come into the league and impact right away---- big men it seems like it takes a lot longer to get adjusted to- which makes sense i suppose.
Yeah, you were on the Luka train way before me.

Boy were you right....lol

Some really good rooks this year.

And it also looks as if last year's class might have been a bit overhyped. Lots of good players in the '17 draft class, but none with the upside of Luka or JJJ.
The lottery portion of last year has been underwhelming, outside of Tatum, Fox, Mitchell.

But, it hasn't been a terrible draft class, just overhyped like you said.

Some of that is because of injury and opportunity....Bam, Markannen.

Some have just been awful...Monk, Kennard..Fultz, Ntilikinna.

Some need to go on that 1k cheeseburger a day diet, Isaacs.

But, Collins, Kuz, OG, Dillon Brooks have been much better than expected.

I really like DSJ too.

last years draft class does have a lot of depth- and still a lot of potential.

A guy like Markenen could be a force down the road. Isaac could be ridiculous down the road.

It takes big men longer a lot of the time.

Collins honestly has been one of the best. Right now if in a redraft it went:

1/2 Mitchell/Tatum
3. Fox
4. Markenen

5. would have to be Collins i would think.

i dunno- you have those top 5--- and then you go DSJ, Bam, Allen, OG, Kuzma, Hart----- i gotta say that is actually a pretty damn good draft class

those top 5 all could be all stars and its not exactly every day you get all stars out of 5 guys in a class. ---DSJ, OG are no slouches either.

Collins has toiled away anonymously in Atlanta but he has been nothing short of great thus far. He definitely goes over other big men like Allen and Kuzma if we re-drafted today.

Anyone go see Aquaman yet?

No, just me?

I liked it.

But, this is another prime example of why Marvel shits on D.C..

Outside of Wonder Woman, all their movies have been anywhere from okay to abysmal.

Dudes been taking a hellacious as whooping the last few pages.

Its Christmas...lol
lol cmon now- a decript old man saying that a PG shooting 39/30/47 would start on half the teams in the leauge?

that a guy averaging 12 minutes, and 10th in minutes on his own team was in a rotation?

Those are the musings of someone that has repeatedly come close to drowning/had heavy objects dropped on their heads.

have not seen it--- but may eventually

Amber Heard in a skin tight suit is a draw- even if her acting is less than stellar (to be kind).

Oh I agree.

It has been a good class for sure.

But there were times last year we were talking about them as a GREAT class. It is deep. There are many guys who will be good players in the league for a long time.

But when you talk about great classes throughout NBA history, they always have multiple superstars near the top. I don't think 2017 has that. 2018 just might.

Shit, I forgot Allen...lol

Agree 100%.

I think Lauri is going to be good, Isaac too.

But, Collins has been a huge surprise.

I wanna see it, and you KNOW I'm a movie goer...

but this year Christmas has been more than a little wacky. Kids, grandkids, niece and great niece...

I'm not a balding man, but I might be by the time it's all said and done...

Collins was in the lotto- for tlance to miss him is not surprising. If its not Lakers/WArriors/Wiz i have the feeling he is not paying much attention.

Yep.

We got a bit ahead of ourselves with 2017.

I see a repeat of that mistake in 2019.

Who is a good comp for Barrett in your opinion?

I'm not in love with him.

He is a sg/sf who shoots 60% from the line.

Kris Middleton, minus any defense?

Good call. Heavy objects dropped repeatedly on your head might explain some things.

Who is decrepit?

I am 40 years old. Far past my prime. But I also keep in good shape. And I would absolutely destroy you on the basketball court.

You are a piece of work.

I didn't miss anybody. Please show me where I made a list of 2nd years studs that left anybody out.

Damn you are so desperate you will say anything, won't you?
