Imo, it would be worth it. While KCP, after a slow start, has been playing well of late, I like Ariza better and the Lakers may be able to bring him back on a team friendly deal next year if they want to.
Agreed, and I think the Lakers are actually trying to help KCP and do bright by him by exploring trades.
Its a contract year for KCP. He has been great the last couple weeks playing in his role of shooting and defense off the bench, but his role with the Lakers just isn't anything that's going to help his payday in the off-season. I think its likely that he wants to find a role with a team where he can get minutes and try to play his way into a better payday.
