No it won't, Kings suck again. Time for them to fall back into being a bottom 5 team as was predicted by many before the season. Congrats on rooting for a team that looks like they're headed in the right direction.
They are so young.

So, being inconsistent isn't really a surprise.

You lose your pick to Boston or Philly no matter what, right?

Fuck giving them a shot at Zion or Barrett.

Keep winning.

Thoughts from last night's Lakers-Pacers game:

1-LeBron James is the MVP.

2-While Oladipo has thrived since the trade from OKC....Sabonis is going to be a really good player.....liked him as the addition in that trade but he has surpassed all my expectations.....

The trade worked out for both teams but Indy won it IMO.

3-The Pacers are a scrappy team and shouldn't be discounted once the playoffs start. They could be a sleeper in the EC.

Yes they are bound to be inconsistent and November was a tough schedule month, but I have no reason to think they will stop the slide. The pick is Boston's unless #1 then it goes to Philly, Kings can't get it. I would love for them to start winning again and stay in the playoff mix, but that's unlikely.

Not even with easier schedule months coming?

Ok. I'll bite. How is your comment relevant to Mecca's comment?
the Sacramento pick that is going to Boston through Philly- a pick that could end up being a freaking #1 pick- was the pick they traded to dump Thompson and Landrys contracts.

The easier December schedule includes the Pacers twice, surging Mavs and Wolves 3 times, Lakers twice, Warriors/Clippers/Grizzlies once each, and games against OKC and the Pelicans. Their easiest opponents are road games which are still tough to win even if the opponent sucks. A month ago that schedule wouldn't have looked as tough but the West is deep and all but one team is still in the playoff picture, if the Kings go 8-7 or better in December then they will still be in that picture going into 2019.

Yup. And Divac was CRUCIFIED for that trade because it was a terrible trade.

GMs sometimes make terrible decisions. No question about that. And the Divac trade was almost Isiah Thomas level terrible.

When you are banking on being able to make a historically one sided trade, you are likely setting yourself up for disappointment.

Here was the discussion of that Kings/Sixers deal..

Sixers just fleeced the Kings

Poor @Bolts was trying to see the bright in the trade but everyone else kinda was just laughing at Divac.

After what happened on Twitter, I wouldn't blame him if he retires. He's still a HOF player, IMO. The Wizards aren't in contention, so there's no reason for him to even set foot on the court for them this year. I'd be really surprised if he didn't just call it a day.

there are bad trades in the NBA ALL THE TIME. Like Fultz for Tatum and a #1.....

It wasn't a bad trade. It was likely a bad result because Fultz, at least so far, forgot how to shoot.

Fultz was exactly the type of player the Sixers needed at the time. Tatum was not.

It doesn't hold a candle to such classics as the Nets/Celtics theft. Or the Knicks trade for Bargnani. Or the Magic trade for Payton.
