Why isn't Sabonis starting ahead of Turner?

Because he got paid, or at least that's my best answer. My next best guess is that he's more of a rim-protector, and Sabonis is overall not accustomed to defending starting centers. Still, that extension for Turner has serious potential to haunt us down the road.

They still lost. I've been mocked for saying that Durant is not a championship maker without a 73-win cast around him, and I was not wrong and it's still true.

You get mocked because you say stupid stuff.

Durant is the 2nd best player in the league. Put good pieces around him and you get a championship caliber team. No individual in the modern history of the NBA is a "championship maker". You need more than 1 great player.

They were on the road against the best team in the East without Curry, Green and Cousins. Of course they lost. KD made it damn interesting though.

Thoughts from last night's Lakers-Pacers game:

1-LeBron James is the MVP.

2-While Oladipo has thrived since the trade from OKC....Sabonis is going to be a really good player.....liked him as the addition in that trade but he has surpassed all my expectations.....

The trade worked out for both teams but Indy won it IMO.

3-The Pacers are a scrappy team and shouldn't be discounted once the playoffs start. They could be a sleeper in the EC.
