The Wiz are 6-4 in their last 10....things settling down there?
2021. They have their own first round pick the next 2 seasons which is good especially if they're bad enough to get a top 10 pick in both years.
I mean- the people that thought the Lakers were going to run a Golden State style system and LeBron was going to play off the ball were crazy.Lol @ ignoring Luke's plays.
But, no surprise here.
He is essentially a coach on the floor.
He has earned the right to have a longer leash.
QB- the Browns had Kizor, Hogan and Kessler- AWFUL- not even 1 win among all 3 of them- all are terrible
you guys are probably begging for the days of Kessler and Darnold....Hey...you watch your dirty whore mouth about Kessler...lol
Seriously though, I liked Kessler at USC, but knew he was never going to be anything but a decent backup in the NFL. If he has to do anything more than the occasional spot start...you're in trouble at that position.
He will always revert back to the familiar, especially in the more trying times.I mean- the people that thought the Lakers were going to run a Golden State style system and LeBron was going to play off the ball were crazy.
Its LeBron. He is going to have the ball in his hands at the top of the key and direct traffic and call the plays and do what he wants to do. Thats what it means to have LeBron James on your team. 98% of it is positive but there are also certain things you have to live with- one of them being is that it LeBron's show.
I remember LeBron preaching patience when he came back to the Cavs....he tried to be patient, let Kyrie have the reigns......and then Kyrie was just not ready and the Cavs were struggling. He will always revert back to the familiar, especially in the more trying times.
LeBron running the show isn't the problem.
It's the guys around him that aren't knocking down shots.
Last night was a bad game, that kinda Shit happens.
Lose by 1, or lose by 30....
It still only counts as one loss.
Ps. I and others believe that Denver is better than the Lakers.
So, the result isn't a shock.
It's the margin of victory that's eyebrow raising.
you guys are probably begging for the days of Kessler and Darnold....
USC at least hung in there vs. ND the other day.....i was hoping they might pull off the upset to help my Buckeyes reach the playoff- but not to be
what do you thin kthe issue is there?
I still think USC has the biggest name/biggest draw west of the Rockies in College football....esep. with the demise of Oregon.
Though STanford has been solid off and on as well.
USC shouldnt be a bad team.
SAS Minne is kind of interestingPretty shitty schedule for a Wednesday
SAS Minne is kind of interesting
Cavs will prob get spanked by the Thunder but ill enjoy watching Sexton paly against RW....
Thursday should be great
Idny/LAL should be a very fun/even matchup
Toronto Golden State is obviously the game of the week
but even SAC LAC isnt bad
your Saints have been unreal.I'll be too focused on Saints/Cowboys
Lol @ ignoring Luke's plays.

Darnold/Allen both have looked pretty good- and both deserved their status.I really wish Darnold would have stayed one more year. I thought he coulds use 1 more year to develop. But, as Matt Leinart and Matt Barkley showed, when you are projected as high as Darnold was...you have to go.
I think the problem was that Helton was to loyal to assistants who weren't getting the job done. When he became the permanent HC, he retained most of the guys from the staff and hired his brother and a family friend.
Based on the carnage of the last couple of days (4 or 5 assistants fired including the OC), it looks like he may have learned his lesson. Hopefully, he will hire the best possible guys and hold them accountable. If he does, USC will be fine and this season will be forgotten.
If he doesn't, he'll be gone after next season.
I was proud of how they played against Notre Dame. They actually fought back from some adversity rather than fold like they had been doing. But the same issues that have hurt them all season, cost them the upset. Untimely penalties and turnovers...
i dont think it means that much- but i think it shows that LeBron had no intention of playing in a system and playing off the ball.Exactly. Cracks me up that some folks think this means much.
Superstar players have the autonomy to take over/ignore plays. Phil granted both MJ and Kobe the right to operate outside the triangle when they saw fit.
It's allowed/tolerated because players at that level can do/create opportunities to do things that normal players can't.
From what I have seen so far, Lebron takes over when he feels he needs to in order to keep the game close/go for wins. I think he knows that it's going to take time, but also knows that they can't fall very far behind in the West, or there will be no playoffs. If he were doing that all of the time, it would be an issue. But he's not, so right now, it isn't.
But to be completely fair, I can also see where it could become an issue down the road.
Darnold/Allen both have looked pretty good- and both deserved their status.
I think Baker has been head and shoulders the best QB in the draft, but Darnold and Allen both look like keepers.
Why do you always have to be honest and reasonable?Exactly. Cracks me up that some folks think this means much.

Hart and Kuzma fit best with Lebron.I remember LeBron preaching patience when he came back to the Cavs....he tried to be patient, let Kyrie have the reigns......and then Kyrie was just not ready and the Cavs were struggling.
LeBron took over- took the reigns and control.
Its not in LeBron's nature to be patient and sit by while they lose games. He takes control- and he should. LeBron isnt going to play off the ball and run around the court off of picks, etc....its just not gonna happen while he is still at or near the top of his game.
Ill tell ya- Hart has been the guy that has impressed me the most on the Lakers. His 3pt shooting and defense are fucking EXACTLY what the Lakers need.
Id EASILY give up Ball before I gave up Hart if i was the Lakers.....shit- id probably give up Ingram before I gave up Hart.
i dont think it means that much- but i think it shows that LeBron had no intention of playing in a system and playing off the ball.
When you have LeBron he IS the system.
