They are better than the Lakers on paper.

But, not by a humongous margin.

Obviously, you have the Best player between the two teams.

After that?

Denver has the next 4.

Murray, Milsap, Jokic, Harris are all better than anyone on the Lakers roster, not named LeBron.

Shit, Barton and Kuz might also be a wash.

So, the fact that the Lakers are keeping the Season series competitive is all the proof I need to put LeBron top 4 in the MVP race, despite the Lakers so-so record.

Giannis, Curry, LeBron, Embiid
-------------> errrrbody else.

I hear ya, but they'd have to win a minimum of 48-50 games for him to get it IMO. And that is still possible if they continue to improve.

Clippers and Kings both headed in the right direction, but fans of each team have reason to be skeptical or worried that it could go downhill again. Clippers are in a better situation because of Jerry West and being an LA team which gives them a better chance at getting top FA's. Says a lot about the past 12 years when a .500 record through 20 games for the Kings is them being or becoming "good". They might have the better young core but not having their 1st next year really hurts.

I kind of wish the playoffs just started today. I love how the West is completely unpredictable up to this point. As of today the Spurs, T-Wolves Pelicans, Rockets and Jazz all would not make it. That's insane.

It's a long season, not as long as barfball (as one of my fave ladies puts it) but still long.

@HurricaneDij39 think your Pacers can pull off going to LA for the win Thursday night?

I sure the hell hope so!!!!!!!!!

Though with Rondo out, and Ball with a sprained ankle, LeBron will be playing with the ball even more than normal- which is really really good news for the Lakers.

Good trade.

The Korver for 1st round pick assumptions some where making in here were ludicrous. 2 mid to late seconds seems right and Korver will fit well in Utah.

Jamal Crawford as a vet minimum contract....or two second round picks for Kyle Korver.

You have a point, but they are not really the same player at all.

So if you want a catch and shoot guy, you deal for Korver. If you want a ball dominant bench scorer, you sign Crawford.

I really wish Darnold would have stayed one more year. I thought he could use 1 more year to develop. But, as Matt Leinart and Matt Barkley showed, when you are projected as high as Darnold was...you have to go.

I think the problem was that Helton was too loyal to assistants who weren't getting the job done. When he became the permanent HC, he retained most of the guys from the staff and hired his brother and a family friend.

Based on the carnage of the last couple of days (4 or 5 assistants fired including the OC), it looks like he may have learned his lesson. Hopefully, he will hire the best possible guys and hold them accountable. If he does, USC will be fine and this season will be forgotten.

If he doesn't, he'll be gone after next season.

I was proud of how they played against Notre Dame. They actually fought back from some adversity rather than fold like they had been doing. But the same issues that have hurt them all season, cost them the upset. Untimely penalties and turnovers...:gaah:

Heard you guys are potentially adding Kingsbury as an OC (I would give my testicles to have him as OC in Miami). That would be unfair with athletes in SoCal.

Yeah, but IMO, they need a guy on their second unit who can create their own shot. I think that's what they need more than simply just another spot up 3 point shooter.
