I'll say it again. I have not hated a Heat team this much since 2007-2008

Wade should just retire now. No need for him to go through this in his final year.

17-2 run by the Hawks to end the half lol

Haven't hit December yet and I'm about to start pulling for losses.

The other option is to try and make a big FA signing or big trade while keeping Whiteside and Dragic, but I think the window to contend would be open longer if they just moved them for assets, continue to add young players through the draft, and go for a big splash in FA 2-3 years from now.

Problem is, I just don't see how you win at this point where 2/3 of your potential Big 3 core is Dragic and Whiteside. I think it's time to blow this thing up to oblivion if possible. Gain whatever assets you have and let some of these contracts run out that are up in 2 years. Only players that are long term plans on the Heat for me should be Richardson and Bam, and to a lesser extent, Justise.

@Mecca The last 10 minutes of This Is Us tonight was ridiculous to say the least.

I started already

Yup. That season we had 2 years ago where we started off slow and quickly turned the season around is because we had dogs fighting for contracts and were starving. Those same dogs got fed. Now, we have a bad product. Luckily, we're just not good as opposed to being mediocre. And we've had some injuries along the way.

Yeah I wouldn't suggest keeping them to make a run, I don't think they'd be good enough even with a big move and if the move was a trade they'd lose some young player/draft pick. Just let the team suck for a few years and try again.

I wouldn't mind Dragic but at this point, I'm ready for Bam to start at C.

Pretty much all of the bad contracts are off the books at the end of next season so planning to make a splash in 2-3 years is a solid plan
Dragic is a good player, but more valuable as a trade asset at this point imo.

A perfect basketball day in the life of HurricaneDij...Pacers win, Nuggets win, Lakers lose. Not to mention I allowed for a HS game to continue by recovering this wedgie (yes, that was me):

The refs working the Knicks-Pistons game were beyond pathetic...they were god damn atrocious. 3 Knicks players fouled out of the game..and more than a few of the calls were very questionable.
Detroit went 33 of 45 from the FT line. Pistons "won it" 115-108.

And you are proud of this why?

Not a single thing I saw on that clip from anyone involved looked remotely athletic.

LeBron James takes control of the Lakers

Just as i said- and anyone with any sense said--- LeBron is back to controlling the ball and playing the point. Anyone who thought LeBron was just going to switch up his game and play off the ball were kidding themselves:

"Advance scouts who have been tracking the Lakers report that Ball frequently becomes an off guard when James is in the game with him. It's enough to wonder if this arrangement is truly their destiny of playing together in the future, especially if Ball is able to improve his outside shooting and show a willingness to drive the ball, as he has in recent games. Though Ball suffered a sprained ankle Tuesday, which may slow him down temporarily and add even more ball-handling duty for James in the near term.

This is probably because having the ball and controlling the offense is the way James has been conditioned to play for most of the past 15 seasons. He has won MVPs and titles operating as the de facto point guard. That's who he is, even if it has a tendency to mentally and physically exhaust him at times.

James grumbled to Cavs management about the need to have more playmakers on the roster to ease this burden in recent years. It wasn't that the Cavs coaches and front office ignored him -- it was just that all their data showed they were better when James was the primary playmaker. They were sorry/not sorry about not taking the ball from him.

The scouts also have noticed that when James is running the point, he rarely looks toward the bench to receive playcalls from coach Luke Walton. Even when he has seen them, the scouts say, he ignores them and runs the play he prefers. Walton has adjusted, and now when James is running the show, Walton will typically just let him call the game. This probably shouldn't be considered a slight -- it's just James being James."

the one that that sucks is you guys still owe a totally unprotected 1st round pick to the Suns---- that i think now actually rests with -- im not sure...maybe Philly?

Dragic would be a nice fit on a contender- and he can play the 1 or the 2 with his shooting---- but no one is going to give up anything significant for a rental.

yah...was a good day....

the West is crazy--- we shall see if teams like the Clips and Griz can stay in contention----- but teams like the Jazz, Rockets, Twolves, Spurs are all out of the playoff seeding rigght now and any one of them - or all of them could be in it by the end of the year.

A couple really good teams are gonna miss the playoffs in the West that it is for sure.

I didnt watch the Lakers/Nuggets but i sure did enjoy teh result! I think the Nugz would take them i na 7 game series.

Jerry West has the Clippers headed in the right direction even if they fade a bit over the next 63 games......
