Um, well, yeah. Magic up 18 late in the 2nd LOL. KD cannot carry a team, simple as that.

Fuck the Magic.....those bitches have our number but pretty sure we'd beat them if we played them in a 5 or 7 game series....

I get that but the Browns were a horrible team until this year. Seriously is another coach winning more than 1-3 games per season with the teams Hue had to coach excluding this year's team?

Good question. But it's a question that can't be answer. I'd like to think yes only because Jackson didn't know what he was doing, and his 3-36-1 record proves it.

As I mentioned before, Cleveland had the lowest and 2nd lowest projected win total in Vegas O/U win totals. With that roster, I'm not sure another coach win more than 2-4 games in each of those years....which would be better than Jackson.

My only point is it was a very bad team and I would like to see him get a shot in the future in a better situation.

Since this has turned into an NFL thread.....Jackson was horrible in Leave-Land but to add some validity to BKS' argument.......Jackson did go 8-8 with the Raiders when we had Carson Palmer.....

He's not the best HC but he's a good/solid OC and may get another shot to coach a team if Lewis does indeed retire.....

I mean, not suggesting they would have made the playoffs or anything, but they had a strong front 7 and a good running game.

A mediocre coach wins 3 games a year with that group. A dynamic coach might get 4 or 5.

Shoot, the Browns were 2-5-1 with playoff caliber talent this year. Now 2-1 without Jackson with the only loss being to the Chiefs.
yah no

a staff of Bill Belicheck, Bill Walsh and Paul Brown couldnt win 5 games with what the Browns had last year- esp. considering the injuries to Garrett and Ogbah.

Could you please be a little more clear? You're kind of vague here. lol
the Browns offense was just terrible.

Think about this--- last year the Browns went into the season with a QB group that had won a total of ZERO GAMES. How is that fucking even possible? Their 3 QBs had combined to have ZERO NFL wins.

Their receivers- Corey Coleman and Kenny Britt are OUT OF THE LEAGUE THIS YEAR.

Practically their whole secondary is new besides Jabril Peppers who was a rookie last year.

The Browns most talented defensive players last year- Garrett and Ogbah each missed about half the season with injuries. Collins got hurt and missed msot of the year.

Joe Schobert was good but he was in his 2nd year- and was a 4th round pick. Kirksey is a solid middle backer- but hes more of a run stuffer/tackle guy not a pass rusher by any means.

Last years Browns team was so bad talent wise its not a surprise they won 0 games.

I mean- in the NFL , with how it is pass happy- you just cant have totally 100% incompetent quarterback play and receiver play- and the Browns were just beyond awful in both.

Now? the young guys are coming around- on defense they have given some of those young guys time to develop

Garrett, Ogbah, Ogunjobi, Kirksey, Schobert, Ward, Peppers, Avery are all players.

Oh I know it's gonna take a lot for any team to get AD outta NO. And I don't see Ainge giving up the assets to get him to Boston.

What else is Ainge going to do with all of these assets? Add 3 more early 1st rounders to a roster that is already fighting for minutes? Not necessarily AD, but they need to make a move somewhere to clarify some roles.

How did we get in the subject of horrible football coaches? The only way Lewis has kept a job is because the Bengals are cheap. He is horrible, as is Jackson.

He's over .500 for his career (17th among active coaches, so middle of the pack). He's been good enough to get his team to the playoffs 6 or 7 times in his career, but they're always out immediately (no playoff wins). Comparing him to Hue is ludicrous.
