Oh the other two guards you're referencing are JJ Redick and Jimmy Butler are well known for their abilities to play the PG position? Did Jimmy Butler never play the SF position before either? Even Butler right now is listed as SF on basketball reference for his position with the 76ers.

In the game that Jimmy missed, the 76ers started F Mike Scott in his place. Meaning their starting lineup was Simmons, Redick, Harris, Scott and Embiid. Curious if Simmons doesn't play the PG position, why wouldn't they start another guard?

Kind of a reach to say he's not their PG, when all he does is play the PG position.

6ers started talking about Simmons playing PG well before they drafted Fultz and before he played his first game.

When they drafted Fultz, they viewed him a a Kyrie to Simmons' LeBron. It didn't work, but Simmons was always going to be a primary ball handler for Philly.
