Yeah, I'm sure that if I switched over to edibles, I would feel the same and the "high" does last longer with edibles. For now though, I prefer the "instant gratification" of smoking. lol

Me too. I'm not sure I want the longer high; sometimes you need to get something done that day lol.

I picked Michigan State and UVA in every bracket I did.

The problem for comes with all my other picks.

I have been saying all year that Duke would get beat in the tournament for all those reasons. As talented as they are, they have their flaws. And all it takes is 1 game.

Mine was the opposite. I had 41 of 48 picks right to start off.

14 out of 16 sweet sixteen right
6 out of 8 elite eight picks right

Went straight downhill from there.

0 Final Four picks

This was the first year I didn't do a bracket for money so no big deal. But this was the best start I've ever had in a bracket. I have never had 0 Final Four picks so that is terrible.

Of the Final Fours teams who you rooting for? For me it's

Michigan State (BigTen fan except for you know who)
Virginia (got nothing against them & better option than Aurburn)

Auburn (SEC wins enough shit & much better option than Texas Tech)

Texas Tech (fuck Chris Beard)

Let's just hope we have a top 3 and get to find out...or, of course, #1 and no need to worry.
thats what i am saying.

I am not greedy--- any top 3 pick i would be happy with

of course iwould be overjoyed if the Cavs got #1 overall---- it would catapult the Cavs rebuild into high gear.

Just to see the look on LeBron's face if the Cavs got Zion would be awesome---- but i am obviously not counting on it.

I mean there is a real chance , like 26% that the Cavs get the 6th pick in the draft. Way better a chance they pick 6th then they pick #1...

so all that being said--- ill be thrilled if they get a top 3 pick and can get one of zion, morant, barret.

If they could get one of those 3 guys, added 2 first rounders, 6 2nd rounders, developed sexton and osman very nicely, nance has come along, added a bunch of expiring contracts for next year- it will have been a very productive (if not successful) year for the Cavs.

but half of me thinks that all the prior lotto luck is going to come home to roost and the Cavs will get the 6th pick- and get a Reddish or Hunter---which would be fine i suppose--- just not what you ideally want.

I've never seen a more bizarre call in a game in my life.

That aside, losing to the Kings is still inexcusable at this point in the season. They're good but come on .
Weird spot with Fox flying in over White, seemed like there had to be a foul called with that much contact. Could have been on Fox for running into one of the two Spurs but I don't think White was trying to get out of the way if he was walking in front of the shooter. Maybe it's a bad foul but I can at least get why they'd call it.

I thought the Spurs would win but the Kings are still playing hard and trying to end the season at or above .500.

I'll root for Michigan St bc I do like Izzo and maybe Virginia just off the top of my head. This is really the only year I can think of where I really don't care who wins and would be happy for any team. Other than MSU, these teams haven't had much successful in school history. It is a great thing to see.

I wouldn't mind seeing Texas Tech and/or Awburn win though.

Can't root for Texas Tech. I don't like their coach. Less than 3 weeks after taking the UNLV job Chris Beard quit to take the Red Raiders job in 2016. In that short time he was the coach he fired all the assistants & left the next coach w/ a total rebuild.

If Culliver do well in the final 4, I can see him moving to the top 5

That's what I'm wondering. It's gotta be a joke though.

It is and it isn't. Those young players won't be back, but new ones will be in their place:

Vernon Carey, #2 center, 5 stars, commit
Wendell Moore, #3 SF, 5 stars, signed
Rejean Ellis, #7 SG, 4 stars, signed

Matthew Hurt, PF, 5 stars, considering
Lester Quinones, SG, 4 stars, considering

So far, they're only 10th in incoming class rating, based on the 3 commit/signed players. So tough being Dook....

Sexton > Ball

Shooting? Sure. Anything else? No.

Sexton: 16.5 ppg on .428/.410/.840, 3 reb, 2.8 ast, 12.0 PER, -0.6 WS, 101 off rat, 121 def rat
Ball: 10 ppg on .380/.315/.437, 6.2 reb, 6.4 ast, 12.2 PER, 3.5 WS, 99 off rat, 107 def rat

And yet he is miles ahead of Ball as a rookie and he was the #8 pick. Ball was the #2 pick.

Defensive rating, that stat doesn't really mean much to me.

For example, Klay had a defensive rating of 111. Also, had a DWS of 0.3 in this rookie year. Actually had a defensive rating of 112 this year. That stat is misleading and you don't know what you are getting out of it.

Not saying Sexton can be the defender Klay will be and he really doesn't need to be. He just needs to work on his facilitating. Elite scorers are hard to find and having a PG that can do that is a treasure in this league. Nobody wants a PG that shys away from shots, isn't aggressive and is a below average shooter like Ball.

He simply isn't miles ahead, that's your interpretation based solely on scoring.

For defense, do you prefer steals instead? Defensive rebounds? Blocks? Or should we keep searching to try to find a stat that shows Sexton can defend?

cmon.

I gotta think that practically any GM out there would take Sexton over Ball at this point.
