Does coaching give me special Insight into the NBA?

Not necessarily.

But it does provide me with Knowledge about what to look for when watching basketball and evaluating players.

I watch the game a whole lot differently now then I did before I got my first serious coaching jobs. And for you to make light of that as if it somehow disqualifies my opinions only makes you look like a total asshat.
I respect your opinion.

You seem to have a firm grasp on a vast variety of sports topics.

Depends on who they play.

They have a great chance against a inexperienced Denver and they'd certainly be able to beat a Nurkic-less Blazers team.

They have a punchers chance with Houston too.

They are only well and truly FUCKED if they draw the Dubs.

Personally I am rooting for OKC and Houston to match up.

I just think it would be a good series. Slight edge to Houston because of home court, but no idea who would win there.

San Antonio would probably be the other team Houston wouldn't love to face.

Portland is their dream match up IMO.

Swept them in the regular season.

They win that in 5 or 6

Let's say Boston gets Memphis pick which would give them 4 1st round picks (2 lottery picks).

If Boston calls New Orleans and say we'll give you 1 of lottery picks, our draft pick from the Clippers, and Tatum.

Does New Orleans accept that?

Yeah. Don't think anybody is scared of Portland after their performance last playoffs and the Nurkic injury.

McCollum should be back though, right?

I think they would unless they were offered the #1 overall pick from NY.

The question for me is whether Boston will offer all that?

Yeah and Kanter isn't bad at all.

As I said the other day, I think Portland (assuming CJ is back) can beat the Clippers in a series and a San Antonio series is a toss up.

I would give Utah a slight edge and OKC a huge edge

I don't know about the Tatum part but if you can possibly get 4 first round picks (already locked in for 3) then I don't see the harm in trading 2 of those picks.

Still would have 1 lottery pick and your own draft pick.

Depends on how good the lottery pick is.

We don't know what other teams will bid.

But, I would take that package in a heartbeat if the pick is top 3.

I'd give them both lotto picks if I could swap out Tatum and give them Brown.

BUT, only if Kyrie stays.

Kanter is a slight upgrade offensively....imo

It's the other side of the floor that's the problem.

Time for skinny ass Collins and bust ass Myers Leonard to earn their salary.

Collins is capable of giving them Some good minutes I think.

I guess we will find out. Because he is going to get some really important playoff minutes.

Why did they even pay Leonard?

10 mil per for a guy that has never averaged more than 5 ppg?

OKC down 10 at home to an Indy team that has really been struggling on the road.

A first round GS matchup is getting closer to reality. OKC needs to win this game.

That said, Indy looks really good. Their floor spacing and ball movement makes them really tough to defend. Wouldn't be shocked if they dispatch Boston in the first round.

Well, maybe a little.
