I promise this will be my last comment on the matter. But it is funny you keep talking about it and talking about in hopes of not talking about it.

Also, let's not get it confused. You have a posting style, like the rest of us do. Your style is to carry on detailed arguments about tiny definitional phrases, and then blame the other guy for it. Your style is to use teasing name calling, never out of line or over the top, but the same that we all do here, and then decry it in others. Your style is to claim you admit error often, then never to do so except for obvious factual errors. You've never had a wrong opinion, and no one's disagreement with your own opinion is ever right.

You're a gigantic hypocrite, more than most (we all are a little when it comes to sports), and love to argue. And nothing wrong with it, but that is the truth of it.

Of course he went to LA for his family and businesses. However, what is better for his basketball legacy?

Going to another stacked team to maybe win another title or 2?

Or resurrecting a storied franchise?

If he went to another stacked team and managed to catch MJ in titles, he still wouldn't be looked at as being equal to or better than MJ because he would still have lost 6 times and would have been seen as having to stack teams to win.

But, if he resurrects a storied franchise, that would be something he accomplished that MJ never did.

It definitely was, same thing when he returned to Cleveland. That's why I said that if he went to say Philly or Houston as some suggested, it would be seen as him going to another stacked team.

yes. I played baseball in high school and was a lefty pitcher- who threw fairly hard until i wrecked my shoulder.

I will not even try and pretend that playing high school baseball gives me any special insight into major league baseball- and can even say that it likely prevents me from truly knowing major league baseball because i will make assumptions out of the minuscule amount of knowledge i possess that would cause me to bring pre-conceived notions to learn what the game is actually about at the pro level.

My favorite is how he latches on to something like this latest "resume" thing and then hammers it over and over with the same humorless and inept 'gotchas' and then types LOL and looks around like he's hilarious and we're all laughing with him when in fact he's just an idiot. Not about basketball, an idiot about how to be funny or even to win an internet argument.

Also he knows where the rainbow button is. So clever!
