Guessing if Lebron has his way it's Kidd......not sure I'd listen to Lebron here.
I would be OK with that. Best thing for Ball.

Yeah, if Lebron will listen to him and he helps Lonzo, can't really complain too much I guess.
He said the year off has given him the chance to "re-focus". That can actually be a good thing sometimes.
Different sport, but I remember seeing an interview with Pete Carroll where he talked about how his time away from football really helped him figure some things out and had a lot to do with his success at USC and with the Seahawks.
I've been saying that my preference is just for them to keep Luke. But if all of the "chatter" is accurate (still haven't seen anything directly from the Lakers), that's not happening.
Given the choice between Byron and Kidd, I'd probably go with Kidd. But end of the day, it's about who Lebron will listen to.
I liked the hire when the Lakers hired Byron the first time because, while he didn't get the team he wanted in Cleveland (reportedly was hired to entice Lebron to stay, but Lebron left anyway), I had heard that he had been good for Kyrie's development. So I figured he'd be good with the Lakers kids, he wasn't. Too old school in both his approach with the players and his system.
Assuming Lonzo isn't traded, Kidd could be good for him, especially since that's who he was compared to as his ceiling when he was coming out of college.
Based on some of his comments, it sure seems like Kidd wants to coach the Lakers. Not sure that necessarily means anything as far as how well he'd do though.
Yeah, but I could also see him listening to Cal if they came calling.....
I won't lose it all.....don't plan on increasing the amounts of my bets.
And what the heck is up with Kyrie. A load management game with a day off before and after? Bails on his team in a game they need because of how the fans might treat him?
Obviously Luka/Trae are 1-2 (most likely that order). Sexton/Bagley 3-4 not at all crazy, but I think I'd put Ayton in there.....really could pick 3,4,5 out of a hat but I might lean Ayton 3rd.
couldn't believe others didn't have Ayton top 3-4 for those who listed. Then again, I listed my playoff teams from memory earlier and forgot Milwaukee so perhaps an oversight (as Ayton is rarely talked about). It's crazy that a 20 year old, 7-1 center who was drafted #1 overall and is putting up 16.3 pts, 10.2 rebs, on 58.6 fg% with a 20.6 PER is so overlooked in a draft class. His usage rate is also almost 9% lower than Luka and about 7% less than Trae which is significant.
I'd have Luka 1a, Trae 1b, Ayton 3, Sexton, Bagley.
But looking at it there are some legit candidates for the spots after Ayton at 3. Jaren Jackson Jr. was playing great until he got injured. If he was still playing I think he has a legitimate shot at the 4th spot. Wendell Carter has played well this year, but has been inconsistent. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should have some recognition as a starting PG on a playoff team. Then you have some guys like Josh Okogie and Kevin Huerter who have really had some great moments this year. Landry Shamet. Kevin Knox. And I haven't even mentioned Mo Bamba's potential.
Man this was a really, really quality draft from top to bottom. There's a real legitimate argument that the best 5 players in this draft could end up being the top 5 picks. When is the last time that happened?

He was quoted saying that you just can't turn down the chance to coach the Lakers, so he may wait to see what materializes.
Was odd to hear he'd "rest" with days off before this game and after......and needing the win. Do you think it was his choice (I do) or possible the team made the decision for him to avoid the distraction of him playing in Cleveland? So Kyrie's gonna sit out tonight against the Cavs. Lame. As far as I'm concerned that jackass can sit out the rest of the season. Including the playoffs.
Wasn't happy when he got to Boston. But I'll be very happy when he's gone. Helluva of a hoopster. But he will never lead a team to a title. And w/ the way he's acted this year I question his leadership abilities.

I like that the blame goes to where it should....the player in this case. seems clear with both Lebron and Kyrie here the dysfunction was caused by them, but they never got the blame.I think it was solely his choice. I truly believe he's the main source of dysfunction that's been dogging the Celtics all year. This team's too talented to only be in the 5th spot.
I suppose that depends on how you feel about a person or an employer, or employee for that matter. IF you have ever been the victim or target of verbal abuse for an extended time, then your response could easily reflect that you dont care about them or if they get butt hurt at your response. A better response will generally come from a person who does not want to hurt someone's feelingsI like that the blame goes to where it should....the player in this case. seems clear with both Lebron and Kyrie here the dysfunction was caused by them, but they never got the blame.
That guy is a different kind of cat, that's for sure. Guessing you heard his comments when asked what going to Cleveland meant. Even if he doesn't care he has to know there's a better answer he can give.

No clue what you are trying to say there....sorry.I suppose that depends on how you feel about a person or an employer, or employee for that matter.
