Luka will win, but Trae made it closer in the 2nd half. If Bagley had been playing 30mpg all season he might have been in the mix but his future still looks good.
Agree....early in the year looked like a huge mistake taking him #2. I don't think that's the case anymore.

Just saw the Nurkic play. Wow I really feel for this guy and his teammates. All the players immediately looked away

Luka, Trae, Sexton, Bagley....

In that order.
Obviously Luka/Trae are 1-2 (most likely that order). Sexton/Bagley 3-4 not at all crazy, but I think I'd put Ayton in there.....really could pick 3,4,5 out of a hat but I might lean Ayton 3rd.

Sucks about Nurkic.
I Feel bad for the dude, and for the Blazers.
Terrible looking injury.

Enes Kanter is gonna have his work cut out, but he's more than able.
He might be more than able but he's way less than Nurkic

Yeah obviously.....but he can hold his own.

I wonder if they're looking into signing another big to backup Kanter & Leonard?
Pretty sure the NBA would grant them an exception, so whoever they did get would be eligible for the postseason.

Kidd, Lue or Mark Jackson.

Mark Jackson is a Klutch client so that would not surprise me at all.

LeBron likes Lue obviously too.
And what the heck is up with Kyrie. A load management game with a day off before and after? Bails on his team in a game they need because of how the fans might treat him?

Guessing if Lebron has his way it's Kidd......not sure I'd listen to Lebron here.

I've been saying that my preference is just for them to keep Luke. But if all of the "chatter" is accurate (still haven't seen anything directly from the Lakers), that's not happening.

Given the choice between Byron and Kidd, I'd probably go with Kidd. But end of the day, it's about who Lebron will listen to.

I liked the hire when the Lakers hired Byron the first time because, while he didn't get the team he wanted in Cleveland (reportedly was hired to entice Lebron to stay, but Lebron left anyway), I had heard that he had been good for Kyrie's development. So I figured he'd be good with the Lakers kids, he wasn't. Too old school in both his approach with the players and his system.

Assuming Lonzo isn't traded, Kidd could be good for him, especially since that's who he was compared to as his ceiling when he was coming out of college.

Based on some of his comments, it sure seems like Kidd wants to coach the Lakers. Not sure that necessarily means anything as far as how well he'd do though.

LOL.

She won because she is female. Not because she had the best dunks.

Really not fair to the kid who finished 2nd.

Let's have a girls dunk contest next year.

Did she use the same ball as the guys, or the women's sized ball?

If it has to be one of the retread guys that have been mentioned, I think I agree with Jason Kidd, if only to get the best out of Lonzo.

Yeah, if Lebron will listen to him and he helps Lonzo, can't really complain too much I guess.

He said the year off has given him the chance to "re-focus". That can actually be a good thing sometimes.

Different sport, but I remember seeing an interview with Pete Carroll where he talked about how his time away from football really helped him figure some things out and had a lot to do with his success at USC and with the Seahawks.
