Riley signed a ton of guys to shit contracts and you blame everyone but him- the players, the rest of the league.

The buck stops at Riley- and hes the guy that signed guys like Tyler Johnson, Dion Waiters, Hassan Whiteside, James Johnson, to contracts that he would absolutely love to get out of right now. To contracts that are choking the life out of the team and have forced it into NBA purgatory.

Lakers are no way shape or form a shit franchise. They are NBA royalty. They might have been/are currently being run like shit since the passing of Hall of Famer Dr. Buss but that certainly does not make them a shit franchise.

When I think of shit NBA franchises I think of the Wizards or Knicks- teams that just have a hopeless feel to them. Before this year the Kings.

Having basically a new owner that just took over having control, a GM that used to be an agent with no experience, and another front office guy that is a celebrity and has no interest in doing the grinding type of work that is required of NBA front office personnel, and a first time coach that is in over his head does not help things

not too mention blood clot issues for one #2 pick, trading away another #2 pick that is flourishing and was just named as an All Star, and having another #2 pick that is Mr. Glass and has a crazy dad, letting go another developing lottery pick for nothing- certainly does not help things either,
