him and kyrie together in new york would be high comedy

While I'd obviously want either one or both on the Lakers, I would have concerns about how they handled the LA media...

and those guys are pussies compared to the NY media.

Love might be able to pass as well out of the post, but to be fair to him, he's never really had to.

In Minny, he was their #1 option and much of the time, was their only option. So, wherever he got the ball, he was probably shooting.

That's why I have Love as "at least as good a passer" because I think he does a great job of making entry passes/feeding the post from the perimeter, but Green is better at passing to the perimeter from the paint.
I think you might be right about this. Only disagreement I could have is Love doesn't need to pass out like Green as Love can score from the paint.

For you, I think it's more about overvaluing Love than Lebron.
I can buy that.

But not like I think he's elite or better than guys like AD. Thinking Love is better than Klay is not as nuts as some here think. And, to be fair, you are more objective about Love than most here who think he's nothing special. Many even think he's better than Green it seems which is absurd.

I don't think anyone is calling you a homer for that.

But to be fair, we didn't know you when LeBron was a Cav.

I think you get lumped in with the homers for your Kevin Love outlook. And maybe that is an outliar and not representative of your overall Cleveland opinions. But an extremely large percentage of your posts have been someway related to Love, so that is why some people have that perception of you.
I'm sure it's true but will say what I did to trojan.....saying Love is as good as Klay is not so crazy. There are some who said I was nuts for thinking he's better than Green. Which he is.

And allegedly overvaluing 1 player does not a true homer make.

I'm one of the few sports fans left (and admittedly, there are more here than other sites I frequent) who are not what I call the extreme fans or 100%ers. Everyone either is great or sucks. They are 100% on one side or the other on a topic.

When it comes to Lebron, for instance, as mentioned I have never liked the guy for the reasons I gave but I did hope he'd stay each time. And never when he left did I automatically decide he isn't and cannot be the GOAT. I still think it might still be MJ but Lebron is in the discussion and could certainly pass him in time.

KD will not be going to LA,or any other Pacific division, or Western conference team.
He'll be a Knickerbocker ...but it won't be w/ Kyrie.
The Knicks are heavily in on bringing Kemba Walker to MSG.

Walker is an under-rated player, love that guy.

Can you really imagine Green on the Cavs and Love on the Warriors?

Green having to score 20-23ppg is a recipe for disaster and why he isn't a true max player as a FA.

His value is worth more on the W's than any other team in the League.
Right.....but Love would help more teams than Green would. One of those teams is yours.

Love would probably average 13-15ppg max in Green's role. If that. But, he'd average more than Green because he's a skilled offensive player and he'd get open looks.
I don't disagree. Did manage 17-18 ppg as 3rd option on Cavs, but he'd be 3A or 3B on GS...maybe even 4a or 4b with Boogie.

See,

This is what people don't get.

The team Draymond is on matters, but not THAT much.

If he were on a bad team he wouldn't ever be asked to score 20 a night because that isn't his skill set. 2016 Draymond could have been the best overall player on a team, but still only averaged like 12 points a game. Not saying that team would be great, but it might not have been terrible if built correctly with other scorers around him.

And any coach who would ask Dray to try and score 20 needs to be Insta-fired. Because that would be really dumb.
where I disagree is it's likely those "other scorers" would be better than green and he wouldn't be the best player.

You want the Knicks straight up?

Gotta disagree here. He's not that stupid
I don't think he's stupid either and his scoring would be in the 10-15 range. Just don't see him as the "best player" on even an average team. That team would fail to be average.

Just my opinion.

Cracks me up how this bothers you so much. Warriors lose a game, maybe because a guy is out, maybe not. So what, they still lost. What is your point? I guess you just want an exchange like

BKS: "LOL Warriors just lost a game, isn't that awesome?"
Warrior fan: "Well no it sucks, they should have won"
BKS: "Well they didn't win! They lost!"
Warrior fan: "Yep they lost all right"

No mention of factors why, they lost and the other team won. OK, now you're good?
Good point, but why not credit the other team as opposed to making excuses for GS (not saying you are guilty of this, but in general)?

And, yes, I heard many a Cav fan do this when the Cavs lost last year. Would either blame the Cavs D or something they did wrong as opposed to crediting the opponent.

I'm not necessarily looking at PPG with the cast on Golden State.

But from all of the other numbers you've listed, and the fact that Draymond's defense looks to have taken a hit as well, that stands to reason that as you've mentioned - giving Draymond a max would not be responsible and would be simply rewarding for previous play, not future.
Agree. PPg should not matter, but most alarming is his shooting % when he is on a team where the opposition wants him to shoot.

last 4 games Colin Sexton is averaging about 24, 4, 3 and 1 turnover per game.

4 turnovers in the last 4 games combined.......shooting well over 50% from the field in that stretch as well and 50% from 3 on 7 three point attempts per game.

kid can play thats for damn sure.
Definitely looks promising, especially knowing he's a rookie and only 20.
