especially when you can take a lot more bullshit from a player when they are playing at an ALL NBA level, and when they are not playing at an ALL NBA level, you are a lot less likely to take a bunch of nonsense and bullshit.

I think that's why Kerr has put up with Draymond for as long as he had. Because Draymond was your quintessential swiss army knife. Now? Not so much.

him and kyrie together in new york would be high comedy

If I'm KD, I'm going to the Clippers. Going to NY would be an utter disaster with Kyrie. Entertaining for sure. But from a management standpoint, they're about the worst in the league. If you're KD, go to the Clippers under Jerry West and win a ring in LA before Lebron. You do that, that's a major hit to Lebron's legacy.

SPURS are now 14-7 in the last 21 games played
13-1 with White
1-6 without White

No other roleplayer in Spurs history to my mind has been such a bellweather of their success.

They look like a 65 win with him.
They look like a 15 win team without him.

Derrick White truly deserves to be on the all-NBA defense watch and most improved player watch lists.

Probably not, because nobody outside of Texas knows him that well, although the media is picking up on it slowly.

By winning game #41.

The Spurs have played 4 players at times this season who were not ALIVE for an entire Spurs losing season.

The Spurs have been .500 or better their entire lives.

We are so fucking spoiled with this franchise.

I am never going to take a single game for granted. It has been a special run.

Hasn't Durant been out for like 2 weeks now? Don't think he's pussying out considering he's played in front of them as a Warrior.
Only a couple games but you're right. Wiggy's just doing his usual shit stirring

KD signs with the Clippers. Clippers move to Seattle and rebrand as the Sonics. Everyone wins

KD will not be going to LA,or any other Pacific division, or Western conference team.
He'll be a Knickerbocker ...but it won't be w/ Kyrie.
The Knicks are heavily in on bringing Kemba Walker to MSG.

I'm not necessarily looking at PPG with the cast on Golden State.

But from all of the other numbers you've listed, and the fact that Draymond's defense looks to have taken a hit as well, that stands to reason that as you've mentioned - giving Draymond a max would not be responsible and would be simply rewarding for previous play, not future.

I thought he was a lock for a max earlier this season.

He has played a little better lately, but like you said, his defense just looks really good instead of game changing at this point.

At this point I think the most likely way he gets his max is if KD leaves, Draymond bounces back a bit offensively next year AND GS wins both titles. Then I think they will be obligated.

Wasn't even close to needed. I thought the Rockets and Thunder were good LOL

Eh.

The ROckets are good. They just got beat. The Thunder missed shots tonight and the Warriors didn't. You aren't going to beat them when they are trying shooting 31% from 3.

I do think GS will cruise through the West playoffs once they find their rhythm, but not because of these 2 games. I have always believed that.

Yeah nobody is beating GS when they shoot like that. 10 three pointers in the first half alone. Even Draymond was hitting them left and right.

Mark Jackson does a lot of annoying shit as an announcer. The worst though has to be when he says "Give X player credit for being good at something", like no one gives said player credit. Meanwhile, I just heard him say give Stephen Curry credit for being a good shooters......Mark, plenty of people have given Curry credit for being a good shooter.

Actually, He's right in this instance.

No one gives Curry credit for being a good shooter.

Everyone gives him credit for being a great shooter. :dhd:

I'll see myself out.

thats true but it just does nt surprise me seeing him miss games there- he def. is the type of guy that would duck that shit.

Maybe that first season. I really don't he's ducking anything anymore.

Besides, he's more into crying about stuff on social media these days isn't he?

Klay Thompson 3 pt shooting by month:

October: 31.3%
November:36.6%
December: 33.7%
January: 47.5%
February: 46.7%
March (4 games): 48.7%

safe to say the early season "slump" is long gone....lol....shooting over 47% from 3 for a 2 and a half month period aint bad--- esp. when you are taking 9 three's a game.

Trending up going into the playoffs too.

The rest of the league may be in serious trouble for this years playoffs if he's gonna keep shooting like that.
