And again, Mecca.....I said I'd take Love BEFORE they signed him to the insane contract extension. I believe he makes 18-20mill on his current contract. Would I take that? Yes.

28.9 mill when he's 34-35 and a shell of himself? Fuck no.

So, they would need to acquire any big salaried guy by trade.

I'm now in Love win his contract.

But, a bad team might be willing to part with more assets since he can't flee for a few years.

If we strike out on everybody but James.....trade for Love and acquire a max player next summer? Maybe Leonard or somebody else.

We could get Love for a lot less than Leonard.

He's a stretch 4 and would fit the offense perfectly. If we got another elite player next summer, Love would be a nice #3 option.

Not my desired player, but James is familiar with him and he's hardly a scrub. More of a backup plan if we only get James. And it all depends on what we'd have to give up to get him.

Deng, Kuzma or Ingram (I'd prefer giving up Kuzma), and a future 1st.....especially if we can deal Ball for a nicer 1st round pick.

I am SMASHED at work, and am paying attention to the blood bath of Cleveland coaches, but i do have to say- i get a kick out of someone of DJ's education level correcting my grammar and spelling on a sports message board. This is mostly the result of a chip on DJ's shoulder if you ask me. I went to a great high school, solid undergrad, and have my juris doctorate. And DJ is trying to correct my grammar. its laughable.
