For the record I want the Nets to make the playoffs with my boy D Lo on the squad. Just a tall order

Lucky, for sure, but insane luck would have been getting the #1 in the AD draft

Let's not forget Waiters and TT were #4 picks as well. The only lottery picks on the Lakers are Ingram and Lonzo and they are not #1's. It may seem like Hart and Kuz are lottery picks but they're not.

Well to be fair the Lakers let 2 high lottery picks go.

That wasn't what was being discussed though, what was being discussed was the current version of the Lakers. But yeah, #2 Russell and #7 Randle, neither of those guys went #1.

Zubac throwing shots

It's weird that the Clippers are going to be a playoff team with essentially an odd roster of cast offs. Like each player by himself is useful to most NBA teams but you'd never purposely assemble that group together and expect to win anything. Doc picked a weird time to pull out his best coaching performance. He should have done that a couple of years ago when the Clips had a roster capable of playing in the Finals

That's splitting serious hairs. Literally no one would have rather had a one in 2013 over a two in 2015. Wiggins never played a second as a Cav and Waiters two years and Bennett one

The Lakers have had more time with their picks unless you take TT by himself

6 guys in double figures

they rested Love last game....i thought hed have a big game, he is struggling (with his shotat least, still has 13-13) and they are still playing some solid ball.

Nance, Osman and Sexton are some decent pieces to start the rebuild with.
5-2 last 7 when Love plays.

Time for a setback.

In all seriousness, 1-4 for the lottery really only matters if they are out of top 4 AFTER lottery results.

I would love it if Detroit could hold the six and Indiana the 3. Or for Boston to pull their shit together and get the 3. Not that I'm expecting a win but they don't match up well with the Sixers. Basically anyone but the Sixers or Bucks please.
Yeah, would think Cs would really struggle with Detroit's size.

But Russell and Randle were.

Ok, don't forget, but neither had anything to do with luck as far as where they picked. If anything, were unlucky to pick 4th.

-17, 18-6

Saw some of the game and his stats and figured Kyrie must have played well. Then I noticed they were -17 with him on the floor and had an 18-6 run without him.

This season is proving my thoughts on coaches (in all sports).....When they are not liked (Lue and Luke) they will get the blame for everything but never any credit. When they are liked (Brad Stevens, for instance) they get credit but never any blame. Kyrie gets the blame in Boston, but here it was Lue.

Kyrie should get some blame. The Celtics are now 1-7 in the last 8 games he's played in. And 6-1 in the previous 7 he missed.

This is Walton's 3rd year as Lakers coach. He's 91-136 (.401) w/ no playoff appearances.

Stevens record going back the same 3 year period is 146-82 (.640). With back to back conference finals trips.

Lue. Most would say his coaching success is only because of LeBron. And until he gets another job & proves otherwise that's how he'll be looked at.

Walton gets blame because he's done nothing as a coach. Steven gets a bit of a pass right now due to his recent success.
