Yeah, this is a closeout game and they are down 12 at the half at home.

Parker in foul trouble.
There's been two 20-point comebacks in 3 games, hasn't there? Anything can happen man.

Yeah, both Teams have blown the shit out of a game this series.

They need to end it tonight.

Lynx have way to many weapons if it goes 5.

Last year's win was very controversial.

And by controversial I mean the refs blew it for the Lynx.

They won't put the game in the refs hands again.

If I'm not drunk after the Sparks game, I likely will be after watching this rendition of Sob City...lol

Go Milos!

I love that Dusty, crusty looking fool.

Sparks picked a bad time to forget how to shoot.

Poor gordon. Trying so hard to believe the Cavs have a chance vs. the Dubs.

Best that you just abandon all hope. It'll make for a much less stressful season for you. :dhd:

lol. I'm not even talking/thinking about the Dubs in any of this. That'll come later (hopefully).

If anything, this relates more to the first half of the season while IT is out.

Not even Vegas is sacred.

Thoughts and prayers to all that were affected.

This madness needs to stop.

They were talking about it on the radio as I was driving in to work this morning. They played some audio of the incident that was recorded while it was happening.

Over the screams, you could hear the gunfire. It went on for several minutes, full automatic gunfire, then it would stop (apparently so he could reload) and then the gunfire would start up again. That was tough to listen to.

I was sickened.

I just don't understand the thought process of hurting innocent people.

If you are upset over whatever, why harm people that have done nothing to you?

No place is safe anymore.

Other major tragedies that have occurred haven't hit me as hard as this one because they've always seemed so far away from me. Vegas was basically a second home for me in my 20's. I went there at least 3-4 times a year at least, every year from 21 - 30. To see such a vile act displayed somewhere I used to frequent so often is really jarring to me. Thoughts go out to everyone affected by this.

Yeah, same here. My family has some close friends who moved to Vegas back in the 70's. We used to go out there at least 3-4 times per year as well. They'd also come to visit us. I remember my Dad and our friends Dad always comparing times on the drives seeing who could make the drive the fastest.

First thing I did when I got to work was look at Facebook to make sure they were ok.

I also used to play in a basketball tournament in Vegas every year for about 5 or 6 years.

Very eery to hear about something like this at a place I know pretty well.

Did you see Tristan play in the finals last year? With all the acquisitions the Cavs made this summer, they can put together a nice small ball lineup. They can go with a lineup of IT/Rose, Wade, JR, Crowder, and Lebron when Golden State go to their small ball lineup.
With the first three of those guys being limp one way or another. I just don't see how adding an old guard & a PG that's only 5'9" & with a bad hip means they've gotten better than last year.

The idea to beat GS is to improve on BOTH ends of the court - not settle for a trade off of losing your second best offensive player for a defensive guy that probably won't start most nights.

They clearly did get better unless you're delusional. IT/Kyrie are on the same level IMO and they added Wade, Crowder, and Rose. Simply having Rose as their backup made instead of Deron Williams made them better. Adding Wade and Crowder helped as well

The additions of Crowder is really underrated in the whole scheme of things in matching up with the Warriors. The Cavs just added another dangerous perimeter defender who can hold his own offensively. He allows them to go smaller and help to match up with the wings of the Warriors. Rose is clearly a better backup than they had last year so that's a plus. Wade is an upgrade. Basically they took a step back in paint scoring, which Kyrie is elite at, but got back another all-nba player.

Cavs are clearly better than last year, IMO. They are also much more dangerous with even more perimeter players to match up.

Kyrie > IT
Kyrie > Wade (currently)
Kyrie > Rose
Kyrie > Crowder

IT + Wade + Rose + Crowder > Kyrie + Deron

Well, hard to say they got better when they traded away their closer for a guy who won't even play until Jan. Second, Wade is old & won't play enough IMO to make an impact when they will need it most - late in the season against the best team in the league. Third, we don't know how Rose will look. The same things were being said when they picked up Deron - yet he looked like a shell of his former self out there. IMO Crowder is the only one that has an upside because he makes them better defensively. But IMO they gave up too much in other areas for that small improvement. Of course my opinion is just based off of how they look on paper. We'll know more once they actually play games.

Yea it is hard to take anyone seriously if they can't see the cavs improved their team this summer. Does it mean they'll beat the Dubs in a best of 7? Nope but you can be honest enough to admit that the did make improvements to their team.
