What about Jordan?

He retired for a year and a half in his absolute prime. Then retired again at a relatively young age still at the top of the sport. While he didn't sit out games, he still got his rest.

At the moment any opponent would get steamrolled by the Warriors. Even the 'mighty' cavs only managed to win one game.

It would be fun to watch the celtics get their asses kicked too for a change.

The Celtics got decimated by the Cavs.

Why would anyone want to see them get swept by 40ppg?

It would be the Lakers vs. New Jersey NYets all over again.

Unless they do away with Conferences and we can see the Spurs and Warriors in the Finals, or the Raptors, Bucks, Wizards add a player of Marc Gasol's caliber or better, I will take the Cavs vs Warriors part 4.

I'm not questioning your perspective as a fan. I'm questioning how guys were doing it in the 70s, 80s and 90s in worse conditions with only a small percentage of what players get paid nowadays.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I never heard guys like Kareem, Magic, MJ or even Kobe complain.

Yes -- Kareem always played hard. Today's players don't have to drag Walton & Lanier's ass up & down the court every night. I think Kareem is the greatest also.

You do realise most NBA fans are casual fans, right? I'm not speaking on everyone's behalf but i'm willing to bet most fans out there wouldn't want to see a Warriors v Cavs finals for the 4th time in a row.

Which TV ratings do you think would be higher ?
Warriors vs. Wizards ? (let's say LBJ gets hurt)
Warriors vs. Raptors ?

Ws vs. Cavs ?

It wouldn't even be close.

These guys have played together for all of 0 seconds.

They added Kyrie, Hayward, Tatum, Morris..

They lost Thomas, Crowder, Olynyk, Bradley.

But, on the court?

The Cavs are still better as long as they have LeBron.

Next year could be different if the Celtics get a legit Center or PF.

Morris is better at the 3 and Horford is not elite.

Horford, Kyrie, Hayward, Morris and Smart or Brown as Starters might not be better than Toronto or Washington without the proper chemistry.

Celtics should totally go after Boogie, Deandre Jordan or Gasol if things go South early for their Teams.

Horford could slide to the Four and that would be a scary lineup.

All is not a Elite Center.

But, next to one of those guys he would be HELL at the 4.

Boston has to get another legit player in the frontcourt.

Morris is ok. But, he'd be better on the bench or if you want to play him at the 4, gotta put him next to a shot blocker.

That ain't Horford.

Jamele Hill called him a white supremacist. Would your opinion be the same if Obama called for the firing of a white celeb who called him the n-word?

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from the consequences of that speech. People of all races get fired all of the time because they posted their opinion or made an offensive joke on twitter or their facebook page and the company they work for wasn't cool with it.

And ftr, I didn't vote for Trump or Hillary.
