Pau Gasol is a good teammate.

He really helped the Spurs out by declining that big contract.

I never would have thought that would happen.

CP3 is definitely in play now if both sides want to do it. The money will be there now and they can probably keep Gasol as well if they wanted to do so as well.

So.....if CP signs with SA who starts? Parker isn't retiring, is he?

Definitely Paul. No doubt.

It might be in Parker's best interest to play limited minutes off the bench anyway. He is not exactly a spring chicken.

On the record, I would rather the SPURS stand pat this season with a 60-win team as is....

They can bring everyone back and retain incredible roster flexibility for 2018 while not missing a beat.

Then they will have a ton of cap space to grab maybe two elite free agents in 2018.

But, this Chris Paul thing is probably 50/50 now instead of 20%.
