Well, I'd imagine they'll be trying to re-sign George. Those two as part of their long term future definitely keep them competitive; to the point where they could wait out Lebron leaving Cleveland and the Warriors breaking up over financial issues (possibly).

They don't have to worry about Cleveland. That is a cake walk compared to GS.

Good for OKC. I don't think they will ever win with Russ for various reasons, but you can't say it is on the FO this time. They have definitely done their jobs.

I think that depends on a lot on what happens this season

1. Chemistry with Carmelo, George and Westbrook and a winning season that convinces George to re-sign.

2. If the Lakers do really good and the mindset for George really is the Lakers - He could be gone - Especially if the Thunder is not a top three team. If they come in at four or five with no hope of being good enough to face the Warriors.

Done quite well too - This is a classic reason I said there was no promise of Paul George - when he was quoted as wanting to go to the Lakers no matter what.

I think I would have waited to see what the front office was able to do in the summer, but It's an occupational hazard. As an auditor I don't trust anyone, but if he is happy, then I wish him the best and hopefully the Thunder can get a better bench and challenge the Warriors. I have no animosity for them - Don't forget draft is tomorrow
