Perfect opportunity for the young guys to prove themselves
Wouldn't call that a soft schedule. I see games against the Clippers, Raptors, Wiz 2x, Portland, Boston, & Milwaukee in the first month
I picture the NBA making these adjustments this year, then playing the year out and see how it goes and then next year or in two more years making more adjustments. At this point I think it's obvious that the back to back games have got to disappear. I have no problems with the players having to play four games in two weeks, but the four games in five days and then 5 days rest is ludicrous. The Lakers went for years without having a chance to beat Denver in Denver because the game was always the second night on a back to back night - David Stern in my opinion fixed those games for Denver - No one could possibly believe that a team that played till 10 p.m. and then boarded a plane to arrive 1200 miles Northwest of Los Angeles at 2 am and then turn around and have to play on five hours of sleep at a ridiculous altitude, could play a competitive gameCould be a lot worse. Don't see complete blowout games amongst those.
It's an improvement - I think the improvements will come a little each year until they get it to what is reasonable. They are still professionals and are being paid big money to play at a professional level, so no one thinks they should have a soft scheduleWouldn't call that a soft schedule. Celtics with 35Lakers have 35 games on national TV
DAMN!
I finally get to see the games at the normal times
The West coast is the best time to see the games. By the time the Finals are over, it's usually 8pm over there. Congorats!
