He is going to be pretty darn good.....eventually. Maybe, not his rookie year but in 2-3 seasons he might just be one of the better pure PG's in the league.

His rookie year will be a little harder to quantify, imo. A guy like Fultz will likely put up more impressive numbers because he's a scorer, where Ball is a facilitator. You will be able to look at the box score and immediately see Fultz's impact on the game.

Lonzo doesn't dominate the ball or have to score a lot of points to impact the game. He is willing to make the pass that leads to the assist rather than hold the ball until he gets the assist.

His impact will be seen more in the teams ball movement and the overall flow of the game than in the individual stats. Sure, there will be games where he has 11-12 assists or scores a bunch of points, but there will also be games where he has 4-5 assists and/or 10-12 points, but has essentially the same impact as an 11-12 assist game or a 25-30 point game because of the ball movement.

I expect him to put up about 11-12ppg, 7-8apg, 4-5rpg, and 1.5spg.

I agree.

Can you imagine? James could come to LA and average a career-low 3-4apg but 28-30ppg because he has a PG who can get him in a position to get the ball and score....he's never had a pure PG who could feed him the ball. He's always been the de facto PG and had to score.

That would be a solid rookie year. It won't look as impressive as what Fultz is likely to put up (scoring wise), but it would be a solid year.

Yeah.....he doesn't need to score a lot.....I expect him to have a rookie year very similar to Kidd's.

That is just it.

How many pure PGs are even in the league? There honestly are not many. Chris Paul is the closest thing in my book, but he doesn't move the ball like Lonzo does.

Lonzo Ball is a modern version of the throwback old school PG. like I said before, I do not see a player like him in the league today.

So Lonzo had Summer Leagues first triple-double since at least 2010 and was the first player to have a 30 point/10 assist game EVER

You guys are reading too much into summer league. You just don't want your picks to stink in summer league. If they're ok or good then that's fine but it really won't mean much come October. These summer league teams are usually fill with guys who will struggle to make an NBA roster

To be fair, it is only summer league and there have been plenty of players who have torn up the summer league and done absolutely nothing in the NBA.

Having said that, I'd much rather see a guy play well in the summer league than go out there and stink it up.
