They need rim protection baaaaaaaaaasaad.

Maybe a Bogut?

They are small as shit too.

Yeah, they're now going to get beat the fuck up inside. Taytum's now going to be playing from the bench, which is odd from a number 3 pick.

A case could be made. This isn't as bad as striking out on Durant, or being played by Lebron. But he was the best realistic free agency option this summer - and I didn't want Griffin.

I kinda wanted Millsap. Would have filled in a major weakness which was starting PF.

They have depth. But who's their best player? IT or Hayward. They're the 3rd best player in a series against Cleveland.

But Stevens is the far better coach than Lue. Hayward gives Boston a fighting chance now.
I can't argue with any of this...

... we'll have to see if the "team" concept Boston is building can continue to trump the rest of the eastern conference and possibly overtake Cleveland. The growth of Jaylon Brown is a decent wild card, too.

I won't even bring up Golden State... they are still the absolute class of the NBA... on a plane of their own.

Yeah, Indy's looking pretty bad in this right now. Fair to say that Ainge would've then given up the farm for George.

Celt's would likely have given over:

- Bradley
- Crowder
- At least 2 first rounders, not the Nets pick though... maybe 3 1sts

Even if the picks weren't the best ones... that's 2 or 3 more draft picks then Indy ended up getting

The Indy brain trust are morons.

Can't argue with this. Who knows what Ainge would've done, but even a brain dead moron would give up the Nets pick if it could land you Paul George, especially now that they have Hayward. It gives you a big 4 version of your own, which Golden St. is the only other team with one. It'd also give you a good chance to beat Cleveland then.

I doubt Ainge would have ceded the Nets pick. By many reports... it has been untouchable, a non-starter from the C's point-of-view.

In defense of the Celtics on this point... Indy ended up accepting far, far less than that Nets pick. So why should the C's have been in a rush to give such a valuable asset away?

I wanted him. But knew he would cost want Denver paid for him. At $15-$20 mil, sure I'd take him in a second. At $30 mil, I'm good.
You guys have been great at reclamation projects.

How about a 1 yr flyer on Killer Kelly or Shabazz Muhammad?

I seen Patrick Patterson mentioned. He is better than Babbitt so I wouldn't be mad with a stretch 4 like him while bringing back Johnson and Waiters

Yay....Gallo deal is done.

I was worried a Team like the Jazz was gonna swoop in.

Gallo and a 2nd rounder for the Rockets 1st, Crawford and Stone.
