Yeah lol at anyone who thought the decision wasn't made 6 hours ago with that Haynes tweet

Yup. Learn from history. I forgot who was the one reporter during the 2014 free agency. But there was one guy who was so adamant that Lebron was returning to Cleveland - and he turned out to be right. Turned out he had a source within SI who released Lebron's return letter. These guys have this shit written up well beforehand.

It was announced that he chose Boston a little after 2 PM EST today then after reports came out how the Jazz were not notified of his decision to choose Boston then magically his agent came out saying no decision was made yet lol. It was clearly damage control because they felt like shit.
Not a big deal to me. Management trades players without notice all the time. The fact that a FA chose to leave Utah to join his former mentor on a team with a better chance to go further in the postseason makes complete sense. Utah should have expected this.

I agree which is why he should have just went with the flow 6 hours ago instead of playing stupid.

Hayward to either the Celtics or Heat wasn't going to put them past Cleveland, just gives them a better chance - which is still slim. Until Cleveland combusts internally, expect them in the Finals.

Ainge has to make roster moves now.

IT, Smart, Horford, Theis, Zizic, Hayward, Brown, Tatum

Bradley, Crowder, Rozier, Mickey, Young, Green, Jackson , Jerebko

My guess is that Bradley and Crowder will be traded immediately, Possibly Green too.
Jerebko will be cut loose.

They'll probably try to stay as young as possible. They'll keep Rozier, D Jackson, Green and Young.
Rest of the draft picks will be in Portland, ME playing for the Lobsters in the D League.

Green and Jerebko are UFA so they're gone

Boston is deep.

Oh shit...lol

* exits thread *

They have depth. But who's their best player? IT or Hayward. They're the 3rd best player in a series against Cleveland.

But Stevens is the far better coach than Lue. Hayward gives Boston a fighting chance now.
