Decent juco DEs aren't easy to come by. I think we looked at the guy at Iowa Western and we must not have liked him much.

Good JUCO DEs are few and far between... there's the kid from Iowa Western but i'm not sure how hard we're pursuing him. Also, I think Greg Johnson is a gap filler of a recruit, he could play slot, RB or CB depending on where we need him most. I like Nebraska's chances there much more than UCLA's and bit more than USC's right now but we'll see. Hopefully we're out to see him soon.

Just a heads up... Reese Leito is visiting Texas this weekend... Nebraska would really like to keep him in the fold. this one will be interesting to watch going forward. Also... sounds like Guy Thomas is a real soft commit to Nebraska.

Joe Keels was a joke there. There was another JUCO DE we signed who flopped as well. Can't remember his name.

Riley is gonna have to just bite the damn bullet and put Jurgens at DE when he gets here. He's no Watt or Bosa but he's athletic as hell. Would be an upgrade.

Junior College signings can begin on December 16.

Nate Gerry is graduating, a chance to play immediately.

I like his heighth.

Drawback is academics.
