Verlander...shows heart in season opener......tigers flex muscles and rout the white Sox. Nicky c. Big year at the plate
Dyou go today?Just saw them live. I'm going to go with last. Race to the bottom/1st draft pick, baby!
Yeah, I was there. Used to have a complete season ticket package of 81 games. Considering the last time the White Sox were above .500 was 2012 (I believe...bad baseball blurs time), I now have a 27 game package.Dyou go today?
Good starting pitching, aside from the second.
Cody fucking Asche was the White Sox' DH today. That's sickening.Dyou go today?

He showed heart byDoug, a serious question for you.
Verlander pitched 6.1 innings and gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. His team got him a win (over a sub-par team). For his services, Mr. Verlander was paid roughly $875,000 on Tuesday.
My question....When and Where did he show this heart you talk about? For that kind of cash, I would expect a player to suck it up and pitch the entire game....especially against a reputably poor team. The use of the term "showing heart" should be reserved for a player that goes above and beyond what is expected of him. I did not see that out of Verlander today. In fact, his team got him an early cushion to ease the stress on him....so his $875,000 pay came a little easier than usual. Thus his shower was quick and it was home to slap a couple of double Ds.
Looks like Moya is from PR according to wikiwpedia:Steven Moya, Dixon Machado, and Bruce Rondon are all from Mexico. Mikki Mahtook is from Northern Mexico, near the Polar Ice Cap.
Season tickets have been in the family dating back to 2003, when the ASG was at formerly US Cellular. When we had 81, I'd get to roughly 40-50, trying to sell the rest. Many nights, you'd eat the price. How it goes. Been harder to sell Sox tickets as of late. How long have you had seasons? When you had the 81 games, how many would you go to, roughly?
