You might want to re-think that statement and re-write. It makes no sense at all. (Postscript: 1948 will have no effect on the betting odds or the final outcome)

Doug....it is possible for UM to get to the Big 10 championship game....if they win their last three games. The key is for MSU and PSU to lose a game. The Spartans may do that this weekend. The problem might be Penn State. Their final three games are pretty soft - with two home games. We could end up seeing UM tied with OSU and PSU with 7-2 conference records.....PSU gets the nod. You better start pulling for a Penn State loss.

Doug...you didn't ask, but here is my opinion on the rest of the Wolverines season. You can disagree.
As mentioned, I think they shouldn't have any trouble with Maryland. As for Wisconsin, UM will be on the road but I still give them a 50/50 chance against the unproven Badgers. Now...the Buckeyes. This may be one of their best chances to beat them, but my gut feeling tells me another tough loss is heading Harbaugh's way.

Harbaugh...Michigan Man? So - he has spent something like 15 years in the state of Michigan....4 as an out-of-state college student. Bo Schembechler spent 37 years there!!!! Three more than I did. Harbaugh will be gone in a few years, taking his con-game, yet again, on the road. No comment? What is your view? If the Badgers get by Iowa this Saturday....they are going to have a lot of confidence coming home to face their biggest test - UM. That game will be just as tough to win as the OSU game. I'll give UM a shot in both of their last two games....but it will be close.
