Not a fan of turkey necks.....
LOL @ various road killWell, my Mom's family is from Shreveport, LA.
They eat shit like turkey necks in gravy, smothered beef short ribs for the Holidays.
My stepfather is from Welder, TX.
They eat Bar B Que pigs feet and various road kill for Thanksgiving.
Add in Latino Heat and no.....
That traditional meals thing you speak of is a figment of the imagination in my universe.
Gotta think he must be in bad shape physically to even contemplate leaving that kind of money on the table.Like I said, mental midget.
Ever had home made tortillas? Delish.

The guy has kids.
* maybe just one *
He'd probably like to be able to enjoy the outdoors with them without the use of a mobility scooter.

Man, LOVE me some chorizo w/ egg & menudo.![]()
Agree on the mantrum...and lol @ that word.LOL @ use of a mobility scooter.
And, I get that. But you don't just throw a mantrum & disappear. It is absolutely his choice if he wants to quit - but he has to be able to articulate that as a professional. Clearly we're seeing a pattern.
Well usually endorsements require the endorsee to advertise in some fashion - and in this case that advertisement was to come by him wearing their shoes while playing. Not sure how else he can satisfy his obligation when we consider he isn't on TV & doesn't have some other vehicle in which he can advertise successfully. He's stupid but I have to think he's invested a lot of the cash he's made.
It's easy to say he should stay for the shoe money but his quality of life might be better if he retires.
PS: If he retires, his contract becomes null and void?
Yes, if he retires, no more shoe money. He's stupid but I have to think he's invested a lot of the cash he's made.

Yes, must be difficult, but most people find something else they're good at. It appears as though he has no plan B at this point. No really smart - hence my mental midget reference.Agree on the mantrum...and lol @ that word.
This is the 2nd time and 2nd team in a row that he's done this too.
But, at least he got permission this time.
Rose is a guy who depended solely on his athleticism.
Now that it's fleeting at best, he has no idea what to do with himself.
Gotta be tough to lose the one thing you THINK makes you special in this world.
At the very least satisfy your contractual obligations. It won't look good if he later tries to be a business man.Yes, if he retires, no more shoe money.
I agree with you.
But, I would probably toil away as a 15th man making the minimum for a few years.
His ego may not allow that.
