For those Lakers fans who made the bet with @HurricaneDij39 , it doesn't look really good for you guys. Indiana is better than expected

So many people mocked them for the PG trade. Not looking so bad right now. Oladipo looks like a legit quality player.

It's still a garbage trade. You gave up a multi-time all star for pieces that keep you in mediocrity.

Sure does suck that the Bulls let the Warriors get Jordan Bell for some cash....

A multi-time all-star that screwed them and said he was going to LA no matter what.

I've been trying to get my nephew to get it. He is Lakers fan and had to move to Maryland when he got is PHd and got a guaranteed position for the FDA. I told him he would be able to watch any game he wants. Its fantastic.

In the mean time is the Clippers season lost this year or can they salvage it with a miracle? Seems like to me, they might better of tanking it and going for a really good draft pick

LOL - I am glad I didn't do that bet - I kind of thought Indiana would still be in playoff postion. In the Western conference that might be different, but they still had some good players

To me, they got some good young players with potential back and granted that the players could have been mediocre, but they still had a good chance to be good.

What happened to your squad today? @Heatles84 @TurnUpTheHeat

Honestly didn't shock me.
There were a few games already they could have lost with a bounce here or there.
Worst case is an Orange Bowl appearance, and most feel if they win next week they are back in the playoffs.
Regardless, I think we've finally tuned the corner and are on the track back to prominence.

Very true but I can deal with them since the 9th team almost always has 2 losses at least. Sometimes 3. Right now leaving the 5th team out is leaving out a team who may have gone undefeated (in certain years) just leaves a nasty taste in my mouth

I'd probably say expand to 6, where numbers 1 and 2 get a bye.

It could work with a bye.
Problem long term with more teams, weeks would be selling tickets.
Fans can plan for 1 game, but after that it's hard.
Nobody wants to buy air, hotel, etc.. if you don't know you will still be playing.

The Thunder back to giving away games in the last 2 minutes. I'm going to concetrate on the Sooners winning a Heisman and National Title and get back to the Thunder after the break.

When will Westbrook learn? Him playing hero ball in the last minute just doesn't work. It never really has. The last shot he took was a decent (not great) look. The two before it were awful heaves.

Yeah right. He was pretty decent before the injuries set in. I can't help to think the only reason you called him that is because he's LeBron teammate. Or maybe ex teammate now if he's done playing.
What are you talking about? What does LBJ have to do with this??? Stop projecting your opinions onto me.

I said it because this isn't the first time he's done something like walk away from his team with ZERO communication. At the very LEAST you are supposed to let them know if you are struggling with your decision to continue to play or retire. He did sign a contract so he is obligated to communicate.

Mental midget.
