Well, so much for hoping the Celtics might knock off the Cavs for Toronto.

Reg season games don't matter much. With the C's basically eliminated without Irving, I like the Raps.

The Lakers swept the Spurs......but I guarantee in a 5-7 game series.......the Spurs would win. Probably in 4 games.

The postseason is a different animal altogether.

Did you understand his post? Are you saying Toronto will beat the Cavs in the playoffs?

What he was trying to say is the Raptors don't stand a chance against Cleveland and the only way they would make the finals was if Boston eliminated the Cavs for them.

it just worries me, that with all the injuries and trades, that this team has actually been on the court, together and at full steam...i mean.... i dont know if they have even had 1 game where everyone that will be in the playoff rotation has been on the court together.

A good, tough first round series that tests them and helps them gel would not be the worst thing. And then onto slaughter Cryrie in the 2nd round.

Agree. The first round is likely to be a bit of a cake walk, but if the series can be extended an extra game or 2, it will help them in the later rounds where they could be challenged.

Just saw on Cowherd that Kyrie is out for the playoffs. So the Cavs won't get to see him.

And I'm saying Toronto has a shot at beating Cleveland.

Of course they have a shot. But considering their playoff history vs. the Cavs and the fact that their own players don't seem to think they can beat them...it seems to be a bit of a long shot.

Look, I don't think it's fair to any one seed to say they don't have a shot.

But it's an extremely long one. If we're measuring it in basketball arcs it would be, like, an 18 pointer.

Ok, say Cleveland finish 3rd and the Celtics go out in round 1. Who gives the Cavs a longer series, Washington, Miami or Milwaukee?

The CAVS were the favorites to win the EAST before the injury.

Forget regular season records, the Cavs were going to roll in the playoffs regardless.

They are peaking right now and getting a lot better as well.

Now, it is just a matter of whom they face in the West.

Nobody has any fucking confidence in Toronto. They could win 74 games and would not beat Lebron.

The only thing stopping Cleveland would be an unforeseen injury.
