Man I wish I saw it your way. And now, the phrase that ends all debate: "I guess we'll see"

I understand why you don't. You are afraid it won't go well and those fears tend to outweigh rational thought.

And I am not saying you aren't being rational. It is human nature. I do the same when I am coaching. You study an opponent and everything they do well while assembling a scouting report and kind of build them up a little. Then the game starts, and it is like, okay, we can play with these guys.

It is a lot easier to see the half empty glass than the half full one. I honestly think that is what you are doing now.

So the Curry injury isn't a thing? Rockets were going to be a handful already, now Curry will be gimpy. CP3 gonna destroy him in the playoffs.

It is but the western conference title is nearly 2 months away.

Even he has a grade 2 mcl injury like KD had last year, full recovery takes 6 weeks....in other words he can be completely healthy by the start of round 2....

Sure, pessimism sells, and it protects the fan's feels. I get all that. I just think this new event means more than you do. I also think the Rockets with home court were equal to the Ws before this injury, and clearly you didn't. Both are reasonable takes, and as I said before, we'll both see in May.

Not if he's playing on it for 2 playoff rounds. Then it never heals right (like 2016). Remember how ordinary Curry was in the Finals that year? Same thing is coming in the WCF.

KD got to sit out during the regular season. Curry will have a couple weeks, then the playoffs start. Depending on the opponent maybe he can skip the first round. No way the second.

Will he though?

Little doubt he will be on the court (unless it is the worst possible version). Will he be right though? In 2016 he wasn't and it cost the Warriors a championship.

Different team though. Golden St. didn't have Durant, and Lebron had a far better team around him (mostly Kyrie). The wildcard would be Houston. But something about Harden in the playoffs....

The Warriors run is clearly over. It was fun while it lasted.

Really, the only thing left to do at this point is trade Curry and KD to the Lakers for Luol Deng and Travis Wear so they can start the rebuild.

If you don't throw in Tyler Ennis, no deal.

Harden sucks in the playoffs....until he doesn't.

Never mind.

I'll trade you Ball, Ingram, Deng's corpse, Lopez in a sign and trade and Ennis for Curry and Green. I'll let you guys keep KD.

Do I look like Bob Evans to you?

Also, awful deal. Might work if you add in Kuzma. Even then I'd pass.

That was clearly a joke trade from DJ, he didn't even throw in Travis Wear.

My guess is they sit him out the entire first round which gives him 5 weeks instead of 3 weeks.
