Yes but they didn't have KD that year either. I don't think it's as bad as some think. If KD & Klay are health to start the playoffs they can get through the first round without Steph.

They won’t beat Houston with only KD and not Curry fully healthy. They are lethal

I agree 100%, but it's not the first round I'm worrying about. They were going to be even money vs Houston, without home court. That was if they were all healthy. Curry will not be 100% after 2 grueling playoff series. It's a problem.

Three weeks left of the regular season, and the first round lasts for 1-2 weeks. It'd be preferable for Curry to return for round 2, but he'll be needed for round 3. Depending on the severity, he should be healed up enough.

Little doubt he will be on the court (unless it is the worst possible version). Will he be right though? In 2016 he wasn't and it cost the Warriors a championship.

They can win the title without Steph.

But they definitely won't be favored against the Rockets. Probably still would be against everybody else.
