It's not a huge troll, imo. Arguing who's better between guys who would be considered #2 and #3 at their positions all time would be worthy of a debate. I think it's probably more clear cut than say comparing Shaq and Hakeem, but not a take unworthy of at least a brief discussion.

Like @LAD stated, even though the topic is slightly debatable, the way it was presented was guaranteed to get a rise out of folks.

Agree. Didn't see it as a troll attempt either. Like you said, a "who's better" debate between the #2 and #3 all time player at their position is usually pretty solid with plenty of good points for both sides.

The overall career numbers between Kobe and D-Wade are very close. Plus, as @bksballer89 pointed out, the biggest difference is that Kobe's prime lasted a little long than D-Wade's. Had D-Wade's prime lasted longer...it might be darn close to a tie.

D-Wade has averaged 34.7 minutes per game, not points per game. His ppg is 22.6.

He has averaged 4.8 rebounds per game not 7.8.

He has averaged 5.5 assists per game, not 3.8.

He shot 48.3% on fg's and 28.8% on 3's.

He shot 76.7% on free throws.

Kobe:

25 ppg
5.2 rpg
4.8 apg
44.7% fpg
32.9% on 3's.
83% on free throws

Kobe has him on points per game, rebounds, 3 point percentage, free throws and rings.

D-Wade has assists and overall fg%.

Overall, very, very close, but Kobe has the edge.
