Fergie should retire after that crappy performance.

Still think Trae Young will be pretty good in the NBA. He won't have defenses locked in on him like this in his first few years of his NBA career. This Oklahoma team is so bad that teams can just put their all in shutting Young down.

I don't disagree and I'm kinda disappointed he's struggled this much because he went from likely top 5 to now maybe top 10. The Kings should not draft him but if they slip and pick around 6-8 with Young still on the board it means another better option is gone.

Am I the only one feeling Jaylen Brunson?

I would so use a 20 something pick on him.

Conley is his ceiling.

Decent article.

Don't see him going to the Warriors or Spurs and apparently he's already ruled out the Clippers.

For the Lakers to land him, they need to approach him from a basketball perspective, imo. The "Hey we're the Lakers" "Hollywood is here" "Look at all of the business opportunities" approach isn't going to work no matter how much cap space they have.

I think Luke will have to be a big part of the presentation to show Lebron how he would fit into the system and why it would work. Lebron isn't going to come by himself, so the Lakers will also need to either have someone signed or ready to if he does. They will also need to convince him that his presence will allow the young guys to develop faster.

They can also play on the fact that they take care of their own both at the end of their careers and after.

In short, they have to convince him that he has a good shot at another ring or 2 while in LA and have a clear plan on how it can happen.

Just another layer on the Paul George free agency stuff...but if OKC signs him to a max, they'd exceed 115 million in tax, and 300 million overall with salary. I wonder if that owner is, or isn't going to want to foot that bill, like they did with James Harden

Didn't there used to be a rule that you have to at least play like 2 minutes in the All Star game? I remember Kobe was hurt but he still had to check in for a few minutes by rule.

I thought so. Aldridge was hurt & played 4 minutes on Sunday. No way am I voting for Butler again if I'm a coach.

Mike D'Antoni the real MVP in the East winning that game. Some clutch decisions he made to help the East pull out the victory. Can't wait till the playoffs come around.

Wouldn't draft him over Young or want the Kings to draft him because they have Fox/Mason, but I am a fan. At worst he should be a solid backup PG.

NBAdraftnet has him projected as #48
I know.

Other mocks don't have him listed at all.

You don't think he's draftable?

He can't get buckets like Trae.

He doesn't have that it factor like Doncic.

He's not a physical wonder like Ayton, Bagley...

But, mid 2nd round?

Brunson has scored in double figures in every game this season. He is averaging 19.5 points and 4.9 assists. Although he is a 6-3 point guard, Brunson ranks 69th among Division I players in field goal percentage – ahead of such excellent big men as Ethan Happ of Wisconsin, Moritz Wagner of Michigan and Chimezie Metu of Southern California – and ahead of every single major-conference guard his size.

Brunson is shooting 53.7 percent from the field. There were 14 point guards chosen as first-team All-Americans over the previous decade. Only UCLA’s Lonzo Ball topped that figure.
