I don't know about that, but I know folks are turning this thread into a nerdfest and there isn't even any music. :dhd:

Lock down defense by team lebron to win the game
Might be the first time this season a LeBron led team won a game at the end because of lock down defense, and it only took playing in the game known for no defense to have it happen.

Good All Star game. The change helped and we got an entertaining game out of it.

I also didn't think we could see anything worse than turdfest Kevin Hart put out for the intro but then Fergie sang the National Anthem. Good lord, that was atrocious. I wish there was a way to erase the first 30 minutes of the broadcast from ever existing

Its just a glorified pick-up game. With the decline of the dunk contest over the years, the only thing worth turning in for anymore is the 3 point contest. So many teams on auto-pilot during the regular season as well

They need to somehow make the NBA must-watch aside from the post season somehow

Does Dray always have his mouth open? Can he not breathe out of his nose? Lol

Maybe Draymond keeps his big mouth open all the time because he always has something to say? Here's a typical Draymond comment: :blah::blah::blah::blah::blah::blah::blah::blah:.

I still think it's nonsense Nikola Jokic wasn't an All Star.

If I'm a coach, I'm done voting Jimmy Butler in as a reserve.

28 year player is too tired to play 10 minutes or so in an ASG.

Even Aldridge who is hurt, played a few minutes.

Did you see his #'s prior to the AS players being selected? Nothing special which is why he was never even considered as a snub.

He just started playing really good a few weeks ago.

Decent enough game but the pre game show went on way to long.

Man....JJ Redick.

He totally said chink.

But, I refuse to believe that he would intentionally not recorded over that take if he had realised what that sounded like.

He's smarter than that and pretty socially conscious.

Plus, nobody else flinched and gave him a heads up?

Not the guy filming, not the editor?

Wtf?

That's what I was wondering. Nobody had thought to look at the footage and think "That could definitely sound like the word chink...I should probably have them re-shoot."?

In other news, Tiago Splitter announced his retirement from basketball. He helped the Spurs to a championship in 2014. Never ended up being what the Spurs had hoped he would be, but I wish him all the best in his retirement.

So, Fergies national anthem...

I have come to the conclusion that it's not the worst one ever.

Roseanne Barr takes that one hands down.

Steven Tyler (kills my soul a little to say it) was worse.

Carl Lewis was worse.

It was, however, the most uncomfortable I have ever felt during the national anthem. I mean, whose I idea was it to try to make the national anthem sexy? Was she inspired by Marilyn Monroe's rendition of Happy Birthday?

Heard someone on the radio today who has apparently actually sung the national anthem. She said it's arguably the hardest song to sing as it is and that if you're not blessed with the voice of a Whitney Houston or Marvin Gaye...you have no business trying to change it up. Just sing right down the middle and hope you don't mess up the words.

Still think Trae Young will be pretty good in the NBA. He won't have defenses locked in on him like this in his first few years of his NBA career. This Oklahoma team is so bad that teams can just put their all in shutting Young down.

He's forcing way too many shots even if it's because his team is trash, but yeah he shouldn't be the one and only focus of defenses in the NBA depending on who drafts him.

Yeah I would still draft him top 10. Not top 5 but I would have no issues as a team drafting him 6-10 as long as he fills a need. Kid is only 19 and can only get better from this point on

I don't disagree and I'm kinda disappointed he's struggled this much because he went from likely top 5 to now maybe top 10. The Kings should not draft him but if they slip and pick around 6-8 with Young still on the board it means another better option is gone.

I found this game very boring for an all-star contest.
