Both players seem more mature a year later. Great to see

How do you know? They could have calmly been exchanging vicious insults and only providing fake smiles for the camera. We need the audio! Until then, THE BEEF IS STILL ON!

Thats a 50? A bunch of midgets ducking for a dunk? Dunk Contest has gone downhill big time. Should have ended it after 2000

And scores are relative to their current contest imo so Mitchell’s dunk definitely deserved one of the highest scores.

So that dunk wins the 2018 contest. A weak version of Vince's 2000 Dunk. Nance's was more difficult.

They gotta tweak the scoring format for the dunk contest. Mitchell wins despite not having either of the two best dunks. Nance's Double Tap was #1 and DSJ's spinning the wrong way 360 through the legs dunk was insane. You could easily convince me DSJ was #1 though. I'm just giving the slight edge to Nance since he hit it on the first try (the first was an aborted attempt so it didn't count. DETAILS PEOPLE!)

Khaled was out there screwing it up for everyone. Judges throw up 10s, he throws an 8. Judges throw an 8, he throws a 10. :L

Anybody catch the Shaq & Kobe special before the AS Events? It was fantastic. Both were as open and truthful about everything that happened as I ever saw them. Three things stood out to me the most:

1) Shaq straight up admitted what most already knew and suspected; he was lazy in LA because he knew Kobe be there to do all the work. That's what started the wedge. Kobe wanted both of them to work all the time, Shaq didn't want to work, Kobe didn't like it. And later on in the show, Shaq admits he should have been better and apologized to Kobe.

2) Kobe taking blame for the loss to the Pistons for not getting more guys (Payton, Malone, etc) involved. Said the way Detroit defended them, it limited touches Shaq would get and made it more perimeter based but he (Kobe) tried to do too much.

3) Their beef was real, but not nearly as long as everyone thought. It was basically done after a year or so and they mostly just kept it up for entertainment purposes

I don't see any reairs listed but if you can find it online, definitely go check it out

I actually thought he was the best judge until he gave nance 10s for decent dunks

Larry Nance Jr. should have won the dunk contest last night. His final dunk was more original Mitchell's tribute to Vinsanity. And it wasn't as good as Carter's either.

#dunkcontestrigged :heh:
