Cowherd just had an interesting take on what Lebron may do after the season. Broke it down like this:

Cavs: 25% - Pros: pulls at his heart, stays home. Cons: Doesn't get along with Gilbert, already delivered a title.

Rockets: 25% - Pros: Friend with CP3, Daryl Morey is a real good GM, Plenty of scoring. Cons: Harden is a flake and Lebron knows it, no bench.

Lakers: 30% - Pros: Relationship with Magic, 2 homes in LA, Cap space so they can get Lebron and he can bring someone with him. Cons: Currently 19-31, Lavar.

Clippers: 10% - Pros: Clean slate, Relationship with The Logo, Makes history if he wins a title, 2 homes in LA. Cons: No history of success, LA's "other team" behind the Lakers, Dodgers, USC football and the Kings.

Warriors: 5% - Pros: Guaranteed title, Play with friends, Less heavy lifting, Silicone Valley. Cons: Ring chasing, Legacy takes a hit.

Retires for 1 year: 5% - Pros: No finals loss, Can pick perfect destination when he returns. Cons: Public outcry, MJ did it twice.

Lavar is actually a huge concern for Lebron. Lakers would definitely have to move Lonzo for this to happen. Which could, because he's still very talented.

Interesting no Philadelphia mentioned, which I believe will be a huge destination this off-season. Minnesota and Milwaukee could be very interesting too via S&T, but less likely due to their market.

I don't see him going to either LA Team.

Philly would be interesting. But, They are not in a position to beat the Warriors, even with LeBron.

I think it will be Rockets, Spurs or Thunder....in that order.

If George goes to the Lakers, Thunder move up the list to 2nd.

Well if Lebron joins Philly, the 76ers would be a nightmare matchup for the Warriors in a 7 game series. Forget Lebron by himself, but Simmons would be too much to handle in the post for Steph. They could go huge and put Covington at the 2 and then you'd have to choose between Klay or Steph guarding Covington or Simmons. Then you have a legit post presence who can score inside and out in Embiid. Saric another big to stretch the floor. The Warriors would have their hands full.

Dude, they lost to the Nets last night...lol

They are not ready to be thrust into contention.

I just don't see him going the young talent route at this stage, which is the main reason I discount the Lakers.

LeBron is still BALLING.

But, he's looking a little older, little more wore down....

Could be more mental fatigue than anything.

But, I think his only shot to beat the Warriors is Houston.

Can RW and James co-exist? I just don't see him going to OKC.

And I longer want him on the Lakers.

They'd almost have to gut that team to fit him in there.....no?

And I longer want him on the Lakers.

As well as anyone can exist with Westbrook.

But, fair point.

I can just very easily see a George to the Lakers, Melo to the Rockets, LeBron to the Thunder trade being facilitated.

Get a Team like Dallas involved to eat Ryan Anderson's deal for a pick or maybe Randle?

It could happen.

Teams are willing to take Noah for a 1st rounder.

Pretty sure they'd take Anderson for similar

Just looked.

Ariza is off the books this Summer.

So, they would have to renounce him, Luc Mbah trade Anderson and probably Tucker/Gordon.

They would lose depth.

But, it's not the impossible situation that I first believed.

Paul and Capela's cap holds probably alter that scenario for the worse.

Might have to deal Gordon and Tucker.

Did you see this ?

Lmfao

Speaking to a reporter Monday, Ball was asked about being a coach since he's now leading his sons' team in Lithuania. The outspoken father of Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball responded by saying, "coaching is not hard, anybody can be a coach."

He then decided, unprompted, to bring up Warriors coach Steve Kerr as an example.

"He’s the Milli Vanilli of coaching," Ball said. "
What I mean is, you can go stand in the same spot like Luke Walton did and win 20-something games when you’ve got the right horses just running. Sometimes less coaching is the best coaching, but some of these guys like to act like they’ve really coached some guys that know how to play.

"How do you coach KD [Kevin Durant], Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson? You know how you coach them? You don’t. Turn your back and let them do what they do. As soon as they win the championship, everybody is like 'Oh, he's a great coach.' That team was put together by Mark Jackson. And now he jumped up and (is) trying to take all the credit. That's why I'm calling him Milli Vanilli of coaching."

I disagree with the Warriors as being 5% possibility - LeBron is not going to do like Karl Malone and go play for 1 million dollars and that's the only way that would happen. That would be 0%

Philly already has their power forward sized PG.

Lavar isn't a concern. He's just background noise. Lonzo isn't going anywhere.
