Meh, that was predictable. Young team, won 8 of their last 10, on a long road trip, opponent with the worst record in the league and feeling a little full of themselves.

They thought all they had to was show up.

Hopefully, they learned from that.

I think as a league everyone needs to come to the conclusion they should never trade with Danny Ainge. The Nets are still reeling years after being fleeced. Isiah looks awful in Cleveland and Kyrie is thriving. Tatum looks excellent and they got him plus an extra pick for a #1 pick who can't get on the court.

If I'm a GM I'm blocking his number from my cell phone and posting pictures of him in the building with instructions to never let him in

He is 2nd in scoring amongst sg's.

11th overall in the NBA.

He gets buckets.

But, yeah...he's a black hole...lol

I'm hoping he will be more Allan Houston, not Ellis.

Yeah, 97th in shooting % (19th among SGs) and 57th in 3 point % (21st among SGs) doesn't impress me I guess. It's that bad team inflation on his shot totals that brings him anywhere close to the other top SGs.

He just seems willing to wait...and wait....and wait some more until the other team caves and gives him what he wants. The Kyrie/Isaiah trade is more than just those two though; let's wait to see what comes of that Brooklyn pick especially. Crowder and Zizic are decent pieces as well (although Zizic will never see PT with Lebron in town). It's early on the Tatum trade yet as well.

I agree the Nets pick is a big deal but if it ends up as the 5th or 6th pick it's a bit of a kick in the balls unless you knock it out of the park.

I was just having some fun, right now looking at the trades the Celts look like they made all the right moves.

This draft is pretty deep. I would be happy with any of the top 7 at least: DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley, Michael Porter, Jaren Jackson Jr, Trae Young, Luka Doncic, Mohamed Bamba. It's probably even deeper, but I'll admit to not being very familiar with the guys listed, other than a bunch of freshman from Kentucky whom I haven't really seen play yet.

Right now there are 7 teams with worse records than the Nets. Long way to go but......

I mean, how about a little common decency?

The guy has been here almost a decade and this is how you do him?

It's despicable.

Agree and as someone else mentioned earlier, I don't see how this will help in pursuing top FA's this off-season.

What's their next move? Having tributes for him and Paul Pierce on the same night? lol

They would have to give even the marginal guys a iron clad NTC to sign.
