I can't believe they'd try to do that. Hill got overpaid, why would he not want to keep all that money the Kings agreed to pay him? And if he's coming off a bad year you know he won't get as much. Of course for me going from $20mil to even $5-10mil would be okay because it's a shit ton of money, but I don't see him turning it down. The Cavs are desperate.

Yep. Draymond is a really good all around player but his #'s as always don't look that great so if it is just a numbers game then he shouldn't make the AS team.

Horford and all 4 Warriors deserve to go in because of winning....imo

But, Horford and Dray don't have great stats.

You put Dame in with Crazy good stats, not a high level of winning.

You put Drummond in with Crazy good stats, 3 games under .500.

You put 2 Wizards in and they are behind the Heat in the standings.

Shit, why not put Booker in if there is no rhyme or reason?

First off, I think there's far too much crying about guys not making the cut. Clearly the AS break is geared towards wooing fans - which is why fans get to vote in starters. I have no problem with that - regardless of player stats.

Having said that, I think to help resolve the envy amongst players they need to extend each roster. Why not make it 20 players on each side? This isn't a serious game anyway so no harm no foul. It would give an opportunity to guys who fall short of votes due to playing on losing teams & I think it would make the game more fun because of the variety. Even better, maybe design a format that allows for two separate games - one on Sat & the other on Sun. It would allow them to fill Saturday with an eventful game rather than the other stupid individual contests that they keep trying to reinvent. Just my 2cents.

Former Spurs player as well. Actually really loved the energy he brought off the bench as old as he was. He was one that I was hoping they'd keep, but sadly they waived him. RIP.

I think he's really good. Issue with him is he can have trouble staying in a game due to how small the game is going. He can't guard several positions which really hurts him but his offense is good. Been developing a mid range jump shot that he's hitting more frequently

I get what you're putting down. But I feel like there's so many different criteria that factor in that no one is really consistent. If you're going from a numbers aspect, he doesn't deserve to make it. If you're going from a winning aspect, I think he has more than a solid argument seeing he's probably the second most important player on the Warriors behind Steph in terms of what the Warriors do.

I'm curious, if you put Draymond on to the Heat right now, do you think his numbers go up or down? Hard call for me. I can see an argument both ways.
